Our neighbors were there actually with their 2 kids. The kids didn't really understand what had happened and the youngest was actually more frightened of the clowns that came out to entertain the crowd after it happened.

Clownaphobia (?)seems to be a pretty common thing.

I'm glad they did their best to not traumatize the children (clowns or no clowns)

OK, you win. I can't honestly say that watching the Jays would be very productive anyway.

DWifey and the kiddos are still pretty upset. I hate to see them this way. Will just take some time.
To be honest, I tend to keep a little more distance. I know I shouldn't, but, that's what works for me right now.
So many pet loses over the years.

The loss of a beloved pet can be very difficult. We all communicate on an emotional level with our pets. I wish you and your family some peace during this time. Emotional healing takes a while; been there . . .

They really did a good job of keeping things under control. It was really amazing that none of the performers were killed, but a cople of them may never walk again from what I've heard.

My touchscreen and alerts thing are back to normal. My headphones just needed to be unplugged and plugged back in for the sound thing to be fixed.

Yea, I'm not on board with the whole "mountain" thing. May hafta' reserve final judgement for when I see it in person. But, it seems like if that was the intent, Disney would have made it more obvious as far as the attraction goes name-wise.
