I would put The Daily Show alongside The Late Show, etc. at this point and they are on cable. When Jon Stewart retires, it's going to be just as big of a deal as replacing Letterman.

I don't disagree. Cable is just a different market. If it wasn't a different market the best of the best would be satisfied with being on cable and not vying for the coveted late night spots held by Leno and Letterman. It is all about the revenue and cable cannot hold a candle to the revenue generated by network tv vs cable. Of course they want to be the chosen for network TV it generates the chance at big time contracts.

While sports is the biggest revenue generator on cable it still does not command the revenue that sports on network tv does.

Oh, no... he is absolutely correct. Jolie reminds me of a hooker.
Not that I would have any first hand knowledge of such a thing. :angelic:

She can't be that desperate, I'm available but she hasn't called. I'm sure that thousands of men would be more then happy to be her soul mate.

Doesn't anyone but me see the problem with this picture? 300 minute wait and only three visible people in line. What's the chance that a 300 minute wait wouldn't be wrapped around the building. Maybe it's FROZEN in time and no one is actually getting in or maybe the attraction doesn't open for another 5 hours.

The vast majority of the the Snow White attraction building is one big massive snaking queue. It was built like Toy Story, Test Track and Soar'n ect to contain the queue indoors. So I am not surprised there isn't a queue outdoors more than a few guests making their way in.

Yeah, and think about it this way... all those people waiting inside for 5 hours are that many people less than you have to compete with for space and in front of you in other queues!

Carson was a staple since my childhood when we got to stay up later on Friday nights. Was always a regular viewer. Then, Letterman came along and that was added to the nightly viewing. Great ways to end the day.
Tried to get into Leno after Carson retired, but, it just never really took. Got bored with Letterman over time. He just seemed to transform into this grumpy old guy that got stale and boring.
Can't remember the last time we even watched any of the late night talk shows. It's been a looooong time.

Yep. I agree. I generally fall asleep to reruns of friends. It is easy to fall asleep to, light hearted humor.

I dug out the only bush that survived Sandy because it had spiked leaves on it, gym, thai place for dinner, watched the thunder roll through, and now it is time to find a movie on Netflix. Wonder what is on there right now...
No Netflix yet, but we just got an Android box.

Pretty awesome. Just finished watching The Flight.

Looking forward to episodes of WKRP in Cincinnati, Barney Miller, and the final Magnum P.I.
