And that is why we rarely see my sister for the holidays. 7 hours from Cleveland to us isn't worth the drive and the weather is always a big question mark. They were in for Christmas, first time in about 10 years.
On Christmas it was 3 hours to my relative in Bethlehem, PA thanks to traffic and there being no direct route there. Next year I might look for hotels that allow dogs nearby.

I think she meant to say "Shawn or Rodgers?" As in Shawn White or Mr. Rodgers, what one is more 'Murican?

No Comcast or TimeWarner up here.

We have Rogers (owners of the Blue Jays and Raptors and the former Skydome) and some areas have Shaw. Just as reviled as your evil twins.

Rogers and Bell buy MLSE (and now own every Canadian sports team, stadium and channel ever)

At least yours aren't combining to form one giant company. I live where I do just to avoid both. I will only move to an area with Verizon or Cablevision available.

I cannot even remember how many different cable companies we've had over the years, they bought one another up so often I lost track.

We have UVerse. It was pretty good originally. Starting having issues this year and the cost is getting ridiculous. I just hate to change over, it never seems to go smoothly.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I googled Suburban Soda 'cause I didn't know what it was. I clicked a link and I got that Danger Will Robinson Danger warning from my security software. Still don't know what Suburban Soda is, are they still in business?
Sounds like, not technically.

Best I could find:
I am looking for PERSONAL knowledge and memories of this soft drink that is still sold in Baltimore and Hagerstown, but only in two-liter bottles.

The brand is owned by PepsiCo, but I am trying to change that, because it has pretty much destroyed it.

So, Bawlmerians, hons and the like, please tell me all that you can about Almond Smash and its one-time owner, Suburban Beverages, because the Internet does not seem to have much of a clue. Please don't go there, as I have read it ALL.

Thanks!

Just read some comments on Facebook regarding the game-winning home run by Ryan Braun tonight against the Pirates. Some people need to calm down. I understand he's not the most popular player in professional baseball, but wow.

Didn't White retire after this year too? So both wouldn't count now.
JR Celski, Lindsay Vonn (she was injured), Shani Davis (had to Google his first name), Sage Kotsenburg, Meryl Davis, Charlie White, Gracie Gold, Ashley Wagner... and I've run out of them. Oh, Ted Ligety and Bode Miller. That is all.

Oops, turned out I was wrong. We do have it - on Channel 69.

Sadly (depending on your perspective), not a single episode of Full House all day.

Clearly, Nickelodeon Canada carries a different line-up.
Much like NetFlix up here, scarcely worth the bother.
I feel for you, netflix Mexico also sucks terribly.

He does all his gambling up here. And by here I mean Iowa. I guess on the drive back he stopped at 3 different casinos. This is why I say he is cheap when it comes to family. He's more than willing to spend his money at the casino or on the latest electronic device. The casino up here gives him "free" prizes all the time for how much he gambles. Some of those "free" prizes are 3-night stays in Vegas. That shows you how much he spends on gambling. Also he gets things like tents, which he will never use, but he still gets them and throws them in the basement.
Why he doesnt sell the tents?
also, hmm.. I suppose he's a gambling addict?

Tomorrow my dad's cousin is taking my immediate family, my aunt, and my grandma out to eat. Now this is really weird because he is the cheapest person on the planet, at least when it comes to family. He's usually a pretty selfish person, so this is just out of the norm. We've come up with three possibilities: 1) He's actually doing this because he wants to, 2) He's actually going to make us pay, despite really giving us no option to say we don't want to go out, 3) He's going to ask us to move him back to Wisconsin from Texas. Which one will it be? Find out tomorrow, only on WITWIBS!

I hear that McDonald's is open on Easter Sunday . . . just sayin . . .
