Unrelated but just ordered a blueberry scone from Starbucks (and a medium green tea lemonade no sugar light on the ice pls thank you) and the scone is fresh from the oven ...or microwave... and hot.

I feel like I've never had a scone before. I think it's love.

Nope - I said I pack Purex laundry sheets and do laundry halfway through our trip to pack less. I always have to go back and see what I said - unless it's this thread. Then I pretty much remember.

A bagel place near my gf's apartment sells these homemade scones (from a bakery called the Scone Pony ) that I got for the first time this week. I should have bought one sooner. Now I need to find this bakery so I buy a bunch more of them.

One of pittsburghs bakeries just got a respectable title for having the best cake/ torte ever. Prantls bakery, and their almond torte is... Well, I have to stay away from that bakery because if I'm even in a five block radius, one of those tortes seems to follow me home. Every. Time. It's literally the best torte I've ever eaten.

I feel your pain today. I'm finally getting around to cleaning out the last part of our crawl space now that weather isn't freezing and the neighborhood trash haul is next week. (Every Earth day.) I'm pulling out all my ex's junk he's felt the need to keep here. (Mind you he walked out on us almost three years ago and it's just been sitting there and it is junk. Old tools, a weight bench, a broken bbq, you know the stuff EVERYBODY needs in their life. ) Well he comes over midprocess to deliver my daughter's Easter basket and starts yelling at me because I'm moving his junk. ) "Well you freaking idget take the crap with you!" So glad I'm on blood pressure medicine right now. Then he's so angry he leaves without taking anything. Poohhead. Now I want a scone!
