Good Night folks! I will try to peek in once in awhile while I'm gone, if I can, but, I'm sure that by the time I get back, I will be so far behind that it will be useless to attempt to catch up. I'll be like a newbie! Perhaps when I get back someone can publish a 10 day summary for me.

At 46, I can tell you that adult living is sooooo over-rated.

Sometimes, I wish Hubby and I were back in our high-school sweetheart days.

Longer hair, firmer body, no laugh-lines, and pre-baby . Those were the days!

Heck, I'm in college and I sometimes wish I could go back to the high school days! You don't realize how much fun high school was until you leave. Some of my best memories come from the classes we all complained about.

My philosophy on BBQ is that the smaller the place is - the better the BBQ.

If you see a little hut on the side of the road selling BBQ you can bet good money their BBQ is to die for!

Yep, this an AWESOME little BBQ shack just down the road from us about halfway (5 mins.) to the lake. Smokey J's...

How are the rooms? We were thinking of staying there next time

They all seem to be a mix depending on when they were renovated. We were upgraded to the GO rooms which I think are a little tacky, but the bed is comfy. This just isn't my style room.


Our friends are in like the Fad or Fab room which are more tasteful except for the furry pink footer. Their bathroom wasn't remodeled yet though.

The pool is great though.

You woke your parent up THAT EARLY?

I woke mine up at 4 am...and then put my mom through 14 hours of labor. I was also 8 1/2 pounds.

My brother was a c-section. And lighter. And he was induced. No wonder he's the favorite...

I was the 2nd one. I was easy. The first ones always take a lot longer.

Just say "yes", even if it's not.

If I ever get to totally gut a bathroom, I'm putting in a heated floor, a heated towel rack, AND an infrared heat lamp.

Now I'm starving. Doesn't help that I've been limiting my food intake since hubby got sick JUST IN CASE it's a virus and I catch it - I'd rather not have too full of a stomach if that happens.

Yup, my bff was 3rd; she took 3 hours total, 30 minutes of pushing. I was first; I took 3 hours of pushing. My mom was a bit disappointed he was a c-section because she says, "After you, I could have shot him right out!" Not always true though, my bff's older brother was 2nd and took the longest simply because he was 9 pounds.
