Today is one of those days you wish you could stay in bed all day. Rainy and dreary. Exactly how it was a week ago today! Seems like every time I have my geography lab it's crappy weather. In the winter it was always snowing, and now it's always raining.

Today is beautiful here. Nice temp, good sun.
But, all I want to do is stay in bed and watch Doctor Who. I can't, but it's what I WANT to do!

Do any of you or have you used Market Day through your school? (Our elementary has started it to raise money for a new jungle gym and teeter-totters.) The food is a little expensive so I'm looking for recommendations. 
And darn this past Ohio winter!!! We got the automated call last night that due to all our snow days, the school year has been extended A WEEK! Five more days tacked on in June.

Wow, a whole school week?! That's amazing. It's probably the same for our schools here- I don't know because I don't have kids and therefore don't follow school news- I can't remember ever having an extra WEEK added onto our schedule- even during the horrible blizzard of '94 where we missed like, 10 school days in a row!
Meg's fault. 100%.
I'm at work right now and... honestly, Im not really even here. My phone decided to mass text my ENTIRE contact list this morning- which was awesome. I was giving a new friend my # by texting her after she gave me hers and somehow, through the magic of technology (and Meg) it texted the message, which was my name- to everyone.
So all morning I've had to explain WHY to every text incoming going "yeah, that's your name, " ....
It's been one of those days. Good news, it's warm enough to wear my ballet flats. Bad news, it's gonna be pouring down rain when I leave today.

On the plus side hubby doesn't have a contagious illness - without being too gross - it's all related to scar tissue from his surgery pressing where it creates pseudo-blockages that get eroded from acid. Unfortunately there's not much they can do - short of further surgery - but once you try to correct scar tissue it usually just makes things worse. Fun stuff. I asked the doctor if there is anything he can do to help prevent attacks and he said, "yeah - take the medicine I prescribed him". Yup - guess that would help now wouldn't it?!
I will still Lysol the heck out of the house - just to be safe.

So our friends arrived last night and the work portion is over! So we went downtown last night and celebrated the beginning of the fun part of the weekend.
So of course my boss calls me the next morning at 8:30am to discuss how I thought the meetings went...
Then i saw the email from here
so here I am. Now I'm laying on the lounge chair waiting for the alarm and curtain thing to go off... and there it is.
Need to recover, pack, and move to the next hotel now.
