I wanted a Mickey Bar when I logged on. Now a half hour later I learned I am not alone.
Great minds think alike..

I've reached a new level of laziness - I'm starving but it's just too much work to go downstairs and get a cookies and cream ice cream sandwich and then brush my teeth again so I am just sitting here hungry. I think I need to stop watching Diners Drive Ins and Dives. It's not helping the situation.
You could always just pay big bucks for a concierge team to deliver the food right into your room.

News & Rumors still doesn't have a million posts. Amateurs.
They would if they discussed rumours of SHARKNADO... ON NETfLIX.

I don't think this boy wanted another sister...

I actually liked DHS.. even THE DAMN HAT(tm) :p
but then, It was my first time ever there..

See, I understand first timers loving DHS even with the dang, silly hat. But we have been visiting WDW as a family since my DS was 14 months old annually for just about 2 decades. After you have been seeing Indian Jones for 25 years, Beauty & Beast for 20 years, a dramatically sliced and diced backlot tour, a Movie Ride that has not really altered for 25 years and the operational studios removed it becomes a little weary. A few trips ago I learned to draw at the Animation lessons. It was my highlight. I'm a big Muppet fan so it is a must but that at least changed out once over the years and I just love Sunset Blvd. The Blvd keeps me returning.

I'm not a fan of the Studios dining options, QS or TS so I usually come in full and leave hungry, never in there more than 4 hours.

It seems that once my boys outgrew the Disney films, I missed a lot of great films.

Have not seen: The Incredibles, Wall-E, Up, Wreck It Ralph, or Cars 2.
(Okay, that last one, maybe not so much.)

Funny thing is, my super cool Son #2 dives into our VHS movie collection, and takes a classic Disney film over to the girlfriend's every Friday night. Classics like Little Mermaid, BatB, Lion King, Snow White, Lady and the Tramp. Tonight's feature appears to have been The Aristocats, judging by the void in the alphabetized shelves.

We still have our VHS tapes too. Not Alphabetized but on shelves at least. Still used.

I did a high school gymnastics routine for a whole year to the soundtrack of the Aristocats. Long long ago.

Very cute. Was this on AFV? I've definitely seen it before.

Here's hoping they play this at Gunner's (?) wedding, when he probably marries "a girl".
I don't know if it was or not; just saw it and thought it was adorable. I love how his math is off "I don't want five girls!" "Five? How many girls do we have?"

My DS was 5 grades ahead of my DD. All the other kids around had brothers or sisters to play with and he was excited to get one too, until it arrived. I don't think he grasped house useless she was going to be to him.

Wasn't until she hit college that they really had much interaction, mainly our Disney Vacations other than that too much of an age difference. Now best of friends.

Just a deep thought I'd like to share with you all.

I realize there are a lot of problems out there in the world. No matter what our background may be or what our current situation may look like, we can all easily admit that life has it's plethora of up's and down's. But no matter what challenges we may be facing right now, no matter what hurdles life has thrown at us, no matter what paths lay ahead for each of us, there is one thing we all can be grateful for each & every day: Spiders cannot fly. That is correct. Spiders are (as far as we know) not flying insects. So despite what stresses you may be battling at present, please take time to pause & appreciate that one simple fact that spiders do not fly. For if they did, we'd all be screwed.

I for one feel more at ease, and I hope you do too.

Thanks for listening.

It took me about 45 minutes to get caught up here, since logging off yesterday (Friday) morning prior to 7 AM. Whew. It takes endurance to be a Contributing level Sagateer. But nobody ever said that anything worthwhile was necessarily easy! :)

By the way, have any of you seen the film, Captain Phillips? I saw it last weekend on DVD and I was on the edge of my seat. Wow. What a film!

I got the Starz network for free for a few months when I switched cable companies and pretty much every time I look through them either The Incredibles, Wreck It Ralph, or Cars 2 is on. So I've been playing a lot of Disney movies while doing chores in the house. Except when Cars 2 is on.
