And for anyone keeping track, I only need 407 more likes until 7,000.

Ahhh, my 7,000th like. I remember it like it was just yesterday. There I was, BMing on the Saget thraed (teehee). Out of nowhere BAM! My 7,000th like.

And that, kids, is the story of how I met your mother is how I got my 7,000th like.

This is a bittersweet moment. My iPad just started flickering again.

Let me say it officially: I hate Apple. Meg must have worked for them at some point.

I remember those days when the Apple people thought they had a better product!

I think I have the most indecisive family ever. As you may know, we have reservations at Riverside for next week. We've had several voting sessions on whether we are actually going or not (pathetic, I know). The verdict changes every time. The first vote it was a unanimous "no". Then it switched to two No's and one Yes. In the end it switched to 2 Yes's and one No. Then we decided without a vote that we are cancelling the reservations. While on hold to cancel the reservations (23 minutes into the hold), we ended the phone call after listening to all the Disney music. So either we will end up cancelling and forfeit 1 night's hotel stay, or we will end up going. This is ending up like two years ago when we decided the morning of the DAY WE WERE LEAVING that we were actually going. I came up from the shower and my mom had decided we were going.

FYI - In the city where I work, there is a large complex which has four indoor soccer fields. Indo-Canadians are huge soccer fans. There are also numerous cricket fields in town too.

We have cricket fields, too. Except they're just fields that contain several wild crickets.

For future reference: Wear gloves! But really wash your hands with non-gel toothpaste. It works almost instantly. OR Dawn dishsoap. It's the oils from the peppers that are causing the burn.

I have become only the 6th person on WDWMagic to get 18k likes! Kinda insane, actually. When I first started here I had intentions of just reading and posting occasionally as I felt fits. Now I'm posting beyond my means in a thraed about Bob Saget. Funny how things work out!

SOOOOOOOOO jealous of that facility, the outside looks amazing. A far cry from the concrete slab with outdoor carpeting on it that I play on!

Been trying to teach my daughter the basics of cricket (she's curious about everything) and have realize how much less I know now that I did when I lived in Scotland.

I've done that before. I've also sworn I had a particular spice or flavoring I needed in a recipe only to be proven wrong...

Happens to everyone, some mixtures can taste like something different.

That was yesterday - we had snow crab legs so I made mine and my daughter's crab into California rolls with cucumber, avocado and rice.

I am having a problem with the screen on my iPad. I've actually had it once before a few months ago, and took it in to the Apple Store, where they fixed it immediately. So I'm wondering if there's a "quick fix" I can do on my own.

When I turn the iPad on, I see my regular lock screen-- but with colorful, flickering, vertical lines all over. Approximately one second after this, the screen turns off. When I turn it on again, same thing happens.

I've tried powering off, I've tried a hard reset... nothing like that works. I'm sure it's just a problem with the screen, but then how did they fix it in the Apple Store so quickly?

So far the problem has gone away once, come back, and gone away again. The first time I had it, I couldn't get it to go away.

It honestly looks like a controller cable from the display is damaged.
they could have just adjusted the cable (hence the quick repair).
So... You could ask them to change the cable instead of just adjusting it for a more permanent solution.

Brava!!!! (Bravo?) Now do me.
