When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I'm sorry, young trash can, but you do not have anywhere near enough miles on your odometer to have that status. When you have been around as long as I have, done the things, good and bad, that I have done, then and only then can you even have an opinion. Ya whippersnapper ya! And get off my lawn and back to the curb where your kind are supposed to be. See, when you have reached an advanced age you can easily switch back and forth from Chit-Chat personality to Rumors and (news?) personality. The only real risk is not always being aware of what thread you are posting in, and then trouble erupts.:grumpy:

I like to think of it as feisty more than nasty.
According to my kids, I am the passive-aggressive queen.
I hide my feisty and nasty in detached niceness - it's the Canadian way.

Can someone who knows a lot about computers make a "thread to thraed" extension on Chrome? I want to be able to click "create new thraed".

We skip those two days. It is just freezing one day, then you walk outside the next and it is almost 80 degrees.
It's like that here in NC. It has been, at least to me, colder then usual this winter, certainly more snow, but I have still managed to play golf once in January and twice in February. Last year I wasn't able to even play once, yet it wasn't as cold. Just cold enough, I guess! Playing again tomorrow, so it's confusing me no end. I blame Meg.

Yea, couldn't ya' tell from her post to me up there? o_O :D ;););););););) :)
Now I'm starting to see why I upset people some of the time. Oh, heck... most of the time. What I said sounded great in my head, but didn't come across that way. Well, maybe she understood. It should have been more like... That's true, eh? It's the Canadian way. Not agreement with the rest of the description.

I hear ya'. I'm silly by nature and that's all it's meant to be...silly. Not hurtful or malicious. One reason I try to put appropriate smilies in quite often, but, I also try not to overdo the smilies. A difficult balance, sometimes. No matter how you slice it, this can be a difficult form of communication so much of the time.

Watchin' The Empire Strikes Back on Spike. I really do love the first 3 movies sooooo much more than the others. :)
Thank you for that, Empire Strikes Back is my favorite movie and I can watch TV on my tablet, so now I can be in my room, bored with my homework, but at least having Star Wars for company.

In the Saget thraed, I feel like most of the time it's easy to tell we aren't trying to be mean or rude to each other, so I don't bother with smilies some of the time. Outside of this thraed, I make sure I use them if the post can be taken the wrong way.
