I've had a twitter account for a few years now and have only go onto it maybe 5 times. Now I have a reason.

So....there is a local bar/restaurant that I used to frequent. Generally once a week. 41 taps. The employees there were the first to know my wife was pregnant. We were members of their beer club (over 750 different brews enjoyed). Our daughter mastered their pinball machines. I joined a band that I first saw there and also played at their Christmas party each year (which was a crazy party, let me tell you!!). When my wife left teaching for a few years, she was a bartender and manager there. And, then it went out of business due to tax fraud by the owner. We've been without a favorite bar/restaurant for two years.

Today, they posted a public auction for the place in two weeks. Who all is in?

Done. The rumored asking price was $2M. There is a small part of me wondering how much I could get a small business loan for....with no restaurant management experience at all...

The Sageteers don't have 2 million worked into their budget. With the large sums of money we drop on dancing chickens, rhubarbs, celebrity appearances, speeches, party supplies, queso, party goats, etc, we just don't have the extra cash.

And my salary, but let's not bring that into the conversation.

Bar Rescue. Restaurant Impossible. I'm ready to call them all. Whatever will help. And, if you've seen the place...it does need some help. That's why I already have a lawyer, graphic designer/advertiser, general contractor, farmer, and master brewer on the payroll. They also happen to be my drinking buddies....

So in case you aren't aware, Facebook has this "trending" section on the news feed now, and one of the trending topics is "Tim Tebow: Tebow's been busy without a contract". First, I really don't give a BM. Second, I hate the trending section because it spoiled How I Met Your Mother's episode for me this week. I haven't seen it yet, but I know what happens.
