OK, I'm miles behind. But, in a futile attempt to try to sorta' catch up...
I'm 51 and have never had my wisdom teeth out. No problems.
As far as anesthetic goes, dentists have always had to give me about 2-4 shots of novocaine before I was comfortable. A sagging face, drooling, and mumbling would ensue for hours afterwards.
I had a colonoscopy when I was 45 and the doc said I'd pretty much be out for the whole thing and probably wouldn't remember much, if anything. Well, I was still wide awake and talkin' when he started and just wasn't goin' out. He looked at the nurse and she said "I gave him the whole dose." He finally said "Well, since your awake, I might as well walk ya' through what I'm doin' here." and proceeded to turn the screen where I could see my insides and did just that.
When I was told that I would have to be put completely under for an operation on an infection I had this past June right after our Disney trip I expressed my concerns to the anesthesiologist and he assured me that I would definitely be out for this one. Anyway, he was right. I was out cold, and when I woke up in the recovery room I was relieved and felt pretty darn good, actually. :)

We had another freezing rain/sleet/ice event this mornin' and all the schools were closed. Ended up not gettin' to the office 'til about 12:30. Worked 'til a little before 8p and then headed back to the ranch. The wave of bad stuff actually didn't start rollin' in 'til about 7:30a when a lot of people were startin' to head in to work. Well, you can just imagine the chaos with that timing. About 170 accidents were reported in about 4 hours.

Actually, I seem to be pretty much caught up...
Wisdom tooth, and bad weather talk seem to be pretty much it back there. ;)
Oh, and some very nice pictures from Nemo of her continued southern adventures. :)

Boy, I forgot about June. That was nasty. But at least you got a good nap out of it. ;)

Yes I can. I love the NCIS's and CSI's, use to love Criminal Minds but when it became over the top gruesome I was done.
I'm not wild about CSI's. I like NCIS LA. Stopped watching NCIS when Ziva left. Criminal Minds is too intense for me. I also like Hawaii Five-0. Other than that, I watch Last Man Standing, Big Bang Theory, and of course, Once Upon a Time. :geek: Which has not been on since Dec., is not returning until March, and I'm like a cat chasing its tail because of it.

They must have thought the guy who noticed that a second arch makes an M was a genius.
That's a Speedee Arch. Those were the style of McD's original arch design. They stopped using Speedee when they went to the double arch.

Here is the McD's Store Museum. It is in DesPlaines IL, a town over from where I grew up as a kid. It was a restaurant when I was small then they built a new one across the street and turned this one into the museum.
Sadly so much was developed in that area after the McD's was there it tends to flood as it sits atop the DesPlaines River that loves to go over her banks. But they clean up the Museum and Open her up again.

I often wonder if when the River gets up to flood stage if they move the cars to higher ground.
