Finally! We sent them DAYS ago. What took them so flippin' long?! For that, the rhubarb we promised them gets halfed.

I bought my DD a Fruits of the Forest frozen pie last week for pie day. She went to bake it today and one of the fruits in the pie is rhubarb, she commented the rhubarb made the pie because it cut the sweetness and all I could focus on was rhubarb. Rhubarb Rhubarb Rhubarb

Most schools have called off around here, but the college has yet to close. If they do, it probably wouldn't be until morning, which still results in me getting up early.

Oddly, the two closest universities were the first to close. Then most churches cancelled their services and everyone else followed suit. We have that ban where only emergency vehicles are allowed on the roads for this evening.

Our school is just stubborn here. They've only cancelled classes two or three times in the past two or three years (oddly enough, all on finals weeks). If it's like this tomorrow, I'd be shocked if they aren't closed.

I don't even think Sandy knocked my cans away... Or floated away was probably the more likely danger. The garbage cans weren't my main worry at the time.

Got an email saying that classes are on schedule for tomorrow, and if anything changes, they'll email us tomorrow morning. Several colleges around here have closed already, but we are just too stubborn. We have been upgraded to a blizzard warning through tomorrow now, along with a wind chill warning. No way we have classes. If we do, I'll probably skip them. I probably wouldn't be able to get out of our driveway if the plows don't come anyway.

Plows haven't been through here all day. The only way we could get anywhere is my sister's horses and they haven't been out of the barn for two days.

My English one did, but that's not until 2pm. My 8am and 9am classes have yet to be cancelled, and I highly doubt my psych professor (8am) will cancel it. She's hardcore that way.
