While PoTC is not my absolute favourite (that would be ToT, Soarin', Splash ... then Pirates), it is my quintessential Disney ride.

When entering MK for the first time, we always stroll slowly down MSUSA to soak in the atmosphere, and then turn on the jets at Casey's and hoof it straight to Pirates.

I don't really start to shed the real world cooties until I enter that cool, dark atmospheric queue.

One of my most vivid childhood memories is of riding PotC at Disneyland back in '68 when I was 6 yrs. old. I've absolutely loved it ever since!

You would think the act of caning hoodlums would be popular in a state mostly populated by retirees, but sadly no.

We stopped at a little park under a drawbridge to watch the dolphins, and the water was just sparkly. Really neat!

Lectures and textbooks are the same to me. Just something telling me information without really applying to to anything or in anyway.

I know the "weather" people always like to err on the safe side for CYA purposes, but, it just gets old after a while.
