Where Have I been?

For anyone who wondered what happened to me, I got lost in the real world. My son has asthma and had a really bad attack and was in the hospital for a week. Then my aunt/godmother had a massive heart attack and I was taking care of her. She passed away and her funeral was last week. Then the not so fun cleaning out her apartment. So for anyone who wondered or cared, I'm back!! Leaving for WDW in 12 days. Looking forward to getting away from here. Think I need to call and get a close first floor room if possible though, my sons asthma is just not the greatest right now still.

I have been thinking about you...now I know why you haven't been around. I am so sorry for all you have been thru. Had a scary time with Lil'mermaid before she was diagnosed with asthma. Was sick for weeks and being treated for everything under the sun, but asthma. It wasn't till she was rushed to the hospital in almost complete respiratory shutdown (and almost on a respirator) that we finally got a diagnosis. It tooks months to straighten her out. Please take all meds and your dr's number when you go to WDW (and try to relax and enjoy yourself).
I commend you for all you have done for your aunt; taking care of a family member is very stressful.
Now is the time to take care of you, enjoy WDW and have some chocolate chip cookies for me. :wave:

Thanks!!! I will be eating cookies by the dozen I think. I can't wait to just get out of here and relax and have some fun. I really want to see Philharmagic and can't wait to do the MNSSHP. I am looking forward to it and my kids definately need the break. My younger boy is trying to get me to find him some ice time somewhere while we're there because he's missing a week of hockey. I think he'll get over it.

Sorry to hear about all your troubles, especially the passing of your grandmother. But, there's nothing like a trip to WDW to help ease the pain. Have a wonderful time!
