I have to tell you I hear so many people complain, and I've never understood it. The people I hear complain about it say there's nothing but chicken fingers and hamburgers, and I know there is a ton of that, but I think there is a huge variety. I think most people who complain about repetitive and bad meals didn't do their research, to be honest.

Also, the only bad meal I've really ever had was at 50's Prime Time, and it had to do w/ a bad server, not witht the food!

Ive never had a bad meal but my Le Cellier experience was a major let down.

The only bad meal I've had was at Hollywood & Vile. Bad food and even worse service, the only time I've never left a tip after a meal.

We also had a bad experience at H&V, also very bad at Artist Point other than that there are some restaurants I really like and others that are on the "been there done that" list.

The only bad meal we had was dinner at Akershus. Everything else has been fabulous. We've discovered that most people who complain about Disney food haven't tried any of the table service restaurants.

I agree, our meal at Tony's was pretty nasty. My food was dry and burnt. DH said his was just gross and even DS hated the kid's spaghetti. That is one place we will never go back to.
Of course your from NY the land of real Italian Food. I won't book Via Napoli because I'm a pizza snob and don't want to be dissappointed. Love so much other Disney food.

LOL! True! I actually tried the pizza from Via Napoli, I wasn't wowed BUT, I was pretty darn good. My critique on the restaurant should be taken with "a glass of wine" since I had, maybe, one to many while we were here...lol..

Well, my least fav is a burger joint... Pecos Bills. Burger was as dry as a powder keg and seating audibly sucked. The vaunted fixins bar could not save it. Note: a restaurant should not coast on the rep of its FIXINS BAR.
Aside, from Pecos, Teppan is the only other let down. Nothing wrong with the food or service. However, if at the end of a meal I hear the words, "just like the one in knoxville, or des moines," escape my lips, that is my only time eating there.

I have had a lot of bad to middling meals at disney.
But I don't judge a restaurant by one meal. There could always be a new chef, a bad day, etc.
Our meal inside Mexico was atrocious, service bad, just awful. Dry chicken, insanely small portions, and frostbite on the ice cream.
Cosmic rays? asked for a manager, waited 30 minutes, walked out. It was like a dirty McDonald's :::shudder:::
Liberty ? greasy nuggets, burnt fries, again, bad fast food.
But, we loved tusker house, akershus, chef mickey's, biergarten, garden grill.. and lots of people have complained about that, so I give everything more than one chance.
and for qs? loved sunshine, the POP qs, and Contemporary qs, and tangierine cafe.

I agree 100%. I've never had a bad meal at WDW. The restaurants are one of my favorite things about the trip!

I agree people complain about having nothing but Chicken fingers and burgers on offer, It made me laugh when BOG menu was released, Little Johnny won't eat that! who wants fish and vegetables. LOL
I don't think we have had a bad meal, different standards, I mean I don't Judge Liberty tree tavern (which is good) the same as Narcoossee (which is also good but for different reasons). We have had bad servers, but even then it didn't ruin our enjoyment. TTFN Jo

So true! There's not a ton of variety for quick service usually within the parks, but I find that I'm looking for a quick burger or chicken fingers when I'm running around the park! Table Service are awesome places to experience the wider variety! The only iffy experience I've had was Le Cellier- not that the food was bad, but it just wasn't as good as I expected.
