The only meals I didnt enjoy were at Sci Fi (and the experience made up for the food) and Narcoossee's (that was a huge let down). We havent been back to either since, but Im sure at some point we will give them another chance.

The only bad meal I've ever had was at Boulangerie Pâtisserie during this past trip. The quiche was the consistency of wet scrambled eggs on two different days. The mousse was still excellent! Other than that, I don't know what all the complaints are about. Even Hollywood & Vine wasn't terrible! I wouldn't rate it very high, but it wasn't terrible either.

Tusker House breakfast and CRT dinner are the worst recent meals we've had. We had an 8:10 @ Tusker, and by that point...much of the food was very picked over, what was there was really dried out, the character interaction was realy bad- like none of them were awake yet, and the service was horrible- which is saying a lot for a buffet. What's funny- I know so many people have polar opposite experiences here...so clearly, we must have gone on an off morning. And with CRT...the a/c dripped on us excessivly all meal- the server was really rude about even though we were getting soaked, the chef refused to serve me certain food even though I wasn't allergic to it, my entree (cheese) had been sitting too long and was hardening and my entree was ice cold. The meal also took forever and the pre-meal part with Cindy was totally chaotic. OY.

I'm still afraid to return to San Angel or Marrakesh due to horrible meals in those spots back in the 80s. I don't even know if the restaurants went by the same names back then...and while I know the menus have changed over the years...it's hard to get over a bad meal even ages ago.

We have had a few that weren't great, but none that were awful. We loved Tusker for breakfast; decided to try it for dinner and it was a let down. Another we didn't care for was Mama Melrose the last time we had it. It wasn't that it was bad, just not as good as previous trip.

Most of our "bad" meals were return trips to places that the previous meals were tremendous, only to be followed by average. Expectations had much to do with it.

I absolutely agree with you, I get so upset when I hear friends/family complaining about the food in Disney. Though we did have two letdowns last trip, H&V for lunch and the 1900 Park Fare for dinner. I don't think I will book another lunch or dinner buffet, besides Boma or Ohana, I guess we prefer a more freshly prepared entree for these meals. I love the breakfast buffets, all of them! I was really let down by 1900 Park Fare and left hungry. It's too bad because if it was just for the character experience I would totally go back! My DS5 was just talking about the stepsisters the other day flirting with him, so funny and cute!

I would have to say that most of the food I've had at Disney has been pretty good. I wasn't too impressed with Chef Mickey's. It was just okay, but the atmosphere is awesome!

It used to be better.

There was also more variety.

I think most of the people who complain do so because they want it to be as good as it was.
