Where can I go for positive news?

No, I don't want to be lied to. I just don't want to be miserable all the time.

You mean like that one WDW news site that shall go unnamed? Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree there.

Just limit your time on the boards or social media that has to do with Disney. That's what I'm doing. Lately I just check in to see if any updates to things I'm interested in and then stop reading. :)

We are almost within 6 months of upcoming trip so at this point we steer towards the upbeat to keep excited.

Positive about Disney? Sure, maybe a few things. But definitely don't see how they could possibly find enough material on a day-to-day basis to remain viable.

Negative about Disney? The well never ends! It could go on forever unless they change course at some point.

Most of those vloggers are not daily.

Tim Tracker is, but they don't show Disney everyday, he has a lot of the other parks (Universal, Sea World, etc.), plus just his daily life with Jen and Jackson. It's truly a daily vlog. They post almost everyday with something, and been doing it for I think over a decade.

Not sure of Mammoth Club yet, Molly's site is very new since leaving AllEars. Seem to be 1 or 2 a week so far. AllEars is all the time posting, but they have a big staff and multiple reporters. Most others are somewhere between.

I personally think there's a lot of negativity here, and while a lot of that is justified, granted, I feel it gets really old really fast. We are all Disney fans in my family, and we are as upset as anyone can get about what the powers that be are doing to the company. And yet, whenever I tell my family about it, including my mother, they just will say, "Oh, well, there's nothing we can do about it." I was criticized of often being upset and not looking for happier news sometimes. That's why I would like to ask, is there any place I can go for positive news on Disney, where things are not always criticism every which way you look?

Try Chapek's personal twitter feed. I am sure he is very happy these days.

If you want all positive, look no further than most influencers. The reason it has been so negative around here is simple. This last D23 broke a lot of peoples spirit. I know it did for me. The extreme lack of anything with any real substance, was a real kick in the gut. It's up to Disney at this point to change the perception. In the meantime, stick with threads talking about the past. Because from a future standpoint there's just not a lot to be excited for.

Once you start to filter through there is a lot of positivity here. Just Disney lovers talking about what they'd like to see. The trip report threads and trip planning threads are always very positive. Pic of the day, food pic thread, where in the world thread. The ladder thread cracks me up. I have learned to branch out to more then just the rumors and general discussion.

This. There’s a ton of positive stuff here but you won’t find it in threads dealing with politics, maintenance, staffing, supply chain issues, etc.

You can gauge the tone of 90% of the threads based on the title alone, if the title indicates someone is unhappy with cleanliness, maintenance, a policy change, etc it’s bound to collect people who’re also unhappy with those issues, if the title indicates it’s a photo sharing thread or a trip report you’re going to get a ton of photos and (mostly) happy memories.

The only threads that are hard to gauge are the news/construction/review threads and those are bound to be a combination of people who are happy and unhappy with the project.

Personally if I need a lift I jump to a trip report or photo thread. Very rarely do you see anything negative in either of those.

Google kids first time seeing the castle
or kids first time at disney
Seeing the sheer enjoyment in a kids response trumps all the nonsense on here

You know humans, right? Everywhere you go, where there are multiples of them, you end up with a spectrum of perspectives.

So what you want, like others have said, is single points of perspective. In this case, one directional happy positive perspectives. Several good youtubers mentioned, start there. Either those, or paid for marketing style sources. Liiiiiiiiike the WDW site(s) themselves.

The past?

Really though...

You were sincerely pointed to YouTube where there are actually many relentlessly upbeat streamers and vloggers, and you give a snarky reply about one which was not even mentioned and doesn't blow pixie dust up your shorts.

Not very positive of you.

My point is, it's hard to tell what is upbeat and what isn't. You told me that there are many streamers/vloggers on YouTube, but did not specify who they are exactly. My snarky attitude was simply that that one WDW site is one that comes up a lot on YouTube.

YouTube and Facebook. Have at it.

Again, what kind of YouTube videos? You told me there are numerous positive/upbeat YouTubers out there, but I don't believe you specified who they are.

You’ve gotten a number of suggestions and don’t seem to like any of them. What are you looking for, other than an argument?

Could you list out some of the vloggers? Tim Tracker and Mammoth Club are a start, but I'm not that familiar with them. And how do I filter out negativity on this site or any site? Also, I was banned from AllEars for citing sources improperly. Also, I can't tell which ones are positive and which are negative. Also, the Disney Food Blog can often be quite negative, at least on Facebook, if the comments sections are to be believed.

Just watch their YouTube videos and ignore the comments. You’re making it sound like an almost insurmountable task to find positive Disney coverage, whereas it’s really quite easy.

Well, it can be insurmountable at times, especially when so much of the negativity is justified. And besides, the comments section is where people express how they really feel about something.

I’m not sure anyone can accomplish what you’re asking for here. No one can guarantee that any particular site is not going to say something negative. You are going to see some negative opinions no matter where you go. Are you just trolling?
