Where are the Kristos?

Their contract was not extended and it ended somtime last year. Unfortunate because not only were they great to watch every time you were at EPCOT but, having worked with them in the past as a cast member in Entertainment, they are a great family and very good friends:)

sadly, they're gone. They left *thinks thinks* around around Aug, Sep?? I forget but it was in our newsletter for the week. It was sad and I'm glad I got to see them one last time before they left. They were replaced by what?

Kristos were live show near Fountain of Nations

The Kristos were a family of, um, I guess you'd call it gymnasts, performance art, I don't know exactly what to call it - feats of balance, coordination, artistry (with music, but not dance) who did short performances with a few 'props' (not much more than a mat) on the World Showcase side of the Fountain of Nations, not too far from the MouseGear entrance on that side. I'm guesing someone else will be better able to describe the performances ...

While they were not a personal favorite, I did enjoy seeing them, and appreciated that they were very talented, and an out-of-the-ordinary entertainment offering.

I havent seen the Kristos at Epcot in several weeks. Anyone know why?:lookaroun

Apparently there was a costume malfunction and during a performance they all stuck together like glue. So, they have moved on and now use a special silica based gel on the suits prior to every performance and have changed their name to ... The Fabulous Krisco's!!

The Kristos were great, I can't remember the first year I caught their show I think it was 1999. There were just three of them back then, mother, and her two sons. Now there is a younger woman performing with them. Does anyone know if that was a daughter or one of the sons wife. I did manage to catch them in January '06. I will definetly miss them, their performance never got old to me. They were very unique, just like Bubbles Nicholas the mime who use to perform outside of the French pavilion.
