Now that we know the company is targeting a late April reopening, I thought it'd be interesting to see when people plan on returning.

I'm planning to return in Fall or Winter with the hopes that the kinks are worked out operationally by then and more attractions can be reopened (also indoor dining is a must).

I certainly also am waiting to see:

1) How the parks are ran
2) What the pricing options will be on tickets
3) What is closed due to the pandemic restrictions

Really dependent upon when I have the vaccine and what the price is. If I had the vaccine in May, I'd likely go in May if the price is right.

I live in MD, so we aren't allowed to go yet, right?

I'm thinking about winter. I'm already going to WDW in 2 weeks. And we're going to WDW again in October (yay 50th!). My options would be around Christmas (but I think I'd rather visit family in AL and then maybe swing through FL on the way home and do Universal), mid-January for a long weekend or mid February for a long weekend.

DH won't be too happy if I overwhelm him with too much Disney too quickly.

And I really want to stay at the Candy Cane Inn again, so we'll be waiting for them to reopen as well.

I went to WDW in July and had an amazing time. I'm not worried about having to wear a mask or any of the other limitations, I plan to go to Disneyland at the first opportunity possible.

I'll go back whenever I don't have to "fight" for it. Pent up demand and reservation requirements will likely make getting in shortly after re-opening a mess for a good while. I'll head back the moment I can make a reservation with ease or just buy a ticket. Whether that ends up being next month or next year.

I am eager to return but I live out of state so I chose 2022. If things improve more quickly than currently slated, perhaps I'll bump that up to this fall. I would love to see the parks and visit my California relatives again.

If I lived in California it would depend on when I got the vaccine and the crowd levels. It certainly would be tempting to try to get to experience the parks at 15% capacity even without the jab.

For all those who want to go back now with no concern about the health and safety mandates, does the reduction in value have any consequence in the decision making? No concerns over lack of entertainment, character interactions, or potentially some indoor attractions?

No concerns about paying full price for the experience?

Personally I have no concerns over lack of entertainment or character interactions. I would be disappointed if some indoor attractions are unable to open, but that likely wouldn't change my plans. I'm not worried about the cost of the tickets either, I'm too excited to be back in the parks! I'm used to going at least twice a year and live close enough to be able to drive down for a weekend.

Blue state travel advisories are dropping like flies. New York is dropping theirs. If DL waits long enough, they may be able to avoid ever worrying about who is in-state.

Thats our choice hotel as well. Candy Cane Inn is really nice, especially for the cost.

I will return when masks are not required. As an ex-AP'er the cost will have a lot to do with it now that Disney continues to gouge its patrons. $700 room, $150 ticket plus $20 for max pass (if that's even a thing in the future). The extreme cost of food and drink as well. Yes I can afford it but compared to say a weekend in Vegas, there is no comparison. In Vegas your not standing in line all day, there are no rude CM's and a few times I've won enough money that it paid for my trip. And there's a Morimoto's in Vegas too! I really feel a week at WDW once a year is better for the soul than fighting 2 days at DLR. But that's just me.

Yeah, this as well. I have zero interest in clawing my way to the top of a wait list to be one of the 15-25% to be one of the ones who can visit for a day.

I'd go this weekend if it was open. I've been to Vegas for 3 days, various Indian casinos for a total of 5 days (no, I don't have a gambling problem, they are just one of the few fun things I've been able to do during the lockdown), bought a car, 100's of grocery store trips, and now my parents are vaccinated, so I have no qualms about going.

I know I'm responsible with wearing a mask, sanitizing my hands, and social distancing. I also don't mind wearing a mask for a day (again, did it for 3 in Vegas) and since it would be at 25% capacity and I wouldn't have to scramble to get on every ride (I'd just be happy to be there), I'd probably just go back to my hotel mid-day for an hour or two for mask relief if I needed it.

I'll probably get the vaccine when available, but I'm not going to keep myself from having fun if I know I can stay safe and the place I'm going to has the proper procedures.

Their facebook page says they are still renovating their rooms and plan to reopen in May or June.
