My gf and I are Lucky enough to be abel to vacation pretty much any time of year.

If you had to pick one time to go when it is least crowded when woudl that be?

We went in Jan of 08 last time from the 2nd to the 9th and crowds id say were good, not great like we could walk on everything but not bad at all

Of the times we went to WDW the first week in December was the best, low crowds and everything decorated for Christmas. Weather in and out of Boston was a concern as well as what to pack for the weather in Florida.

The next best time was the last week in August; crowds were manageable, not as low as December, but not wall-to-wall. No weather concerns except for Hot! Also, afternoon showers everyday but that was manageable also.

We use to love going second week of Septmeber (before the kids got to old to take out of school). Very nice weather and low crowds or the first week of December. Cooler evening and all done up for the holidays. But both of thes times will depend on what promo are offered...this could change the crowd levels a bit but not enought to count them out!! Good luck planing and have a wonderful vacation.

I love october and early november but unfortunately due to school we cant get down there in that timeframe, we are doomed to higher volume times for a while to come.

my fav time is feb....seems to be lower wait times, but with all the promo's and everyone trying to go during off seasons, the days of being in the parks by yourself seem long gone:(

May

My wife and I go regularly to coincide with the long weekend in May for Canada. It's the first Monday on or before May 24th. So we can arrive as early as Friday the 15th with a departure of May 24th, or as late as Friday May 21st with a depature of May 30th.

In any event, it is the week before the US Memorial Day weekend. We've never experienced ridiculous crowds even on the Saturday of the long weekend in the US (we're usually flying home on the Sunday).

I've always been a fan of the temperature at this time of year. Hot but not stifling, and crowds are very manageable with wait times that are reasonable.

We'll be there again this year staying at Port Orleans Riverside from May 21st - 30th.

I prefer late September or early October. I think it is much busier during mid December than Sept. or Oct. I prefer the Halloween decorations too and the warmer temps.

Definitely 1st Week of December:xmas: - all the decorations are out, party is going on and crowds are very low. My next favorite is in early May, not too hot, low crowds again:wave:

I'd say probably late January if you weren't concerned about the cooler weather. Late Jan/Early Feb has been the best time of year for us and we've been to WDW during most months.

Crowd wise we went one year 3rd week of May and it was great...walked on everything...you say you went in beginning of Jan, remember you're there at marathon time so some things get a little busy with tens-of-thousands of us coming in for that...talking to one of the cast members, they said it's dead beginning of Sept...would like to try that sometime...(Oct. next for us)

June/July is the nicest time to go!
The lines are not too bad but the weather is the nicest then and there is hardly any refurbs. :animwink:;)

I have 2 times that I love to go! when my nephew was younger, he went to a year round school and he got out the middle two weeks of October! the first year we went, was October 2000, LOVED IT! We walked right up to most of the rides with little or no wait at all. BOO to you parade and festivities..(never did it though)

My other time is December....the weather is just right, wear a light jacket in morning, but by 10:00am, shuck it....little bit of a crowd, but not bad at all...as most want to be there during the Holidays....we usually get there a week and a half before the holidays start.....Mickey's Very Merry Christams Party and parade.......(doing it this time) :sohappy:

Our favorite time to go is late April or May before Memorial Day OR November, but leave before the Friday before Thanksgiving. Crowds are light, weather is great.

Whatever time you choose, have a great time!
