When will they offer Free Dinning For Summer?

I noticed that the new free dining dates available now are for the Winter into the Spring and you have to book them by Oct 29, does that mean that if they offer free dinning or any other offer for summer dates in 2012 that they will be after Oct 29 or do they sometimes have two of those offers for different dates going at the same time? I know that last year they had the summer free dinning available in mid Aug. Thanks for any info.

Right now we're all just waiting; we never know exactly when they will or even if they will release more dates for Free Dining. We'll just have to see.

I'm not sure if this helps you guys but in the UK we have free dining for that period as I have it for my trip from 18th August 2012.

Has free dining ever been available in the summer (is. June / July)? I imagine unless there's a serious dip in bookings it isn't likely to happen given that WDW is generally busier during that time. I've seen free dining in mid-August but by then bookings are slowing because US kids are starting to head back to school. My nieces started back this week in south Alabama. We homeschool so we start back whenever we want to...which this year will be next week to accommodate the 2 week vacation next month.

June and July usually aren't months free dining is offered. I HIGHLY doubt that will change this year. If anything there may be some room discounts offered, but most likely not any free dining.

The last 2 years in a row (June 2011 and June 2010) I have booked free dining with a pin code. It was available to us for June, July and August.

We went June 3 -11 this year and had free dining for our whole grand gathering. We had friends who went in July and they also had free dining. We didn't know we were going to WDW until around 60 days prior to our arrival and still had no problems getting the dining options we wanted for our grand gathering including Cinderella's breakfast. Don't know if this will prove true for 2012 but with the way the economy is going...who knows.
