When you go on a road trip and end up having to stay the night somewhere, what hotel would you stay at? Here are the hotels me and Jess have stayed at:
Hampton
Hilton
Holiday Inn
Best Western
Sleep Inn

I've come to prefer Springhill suites. I appreciate the separate sitting area as I get up very early and everyone sleeps in. I can sit at the desk and drink my coffee and not disturb the others. I just really like the extra space the room offers. I also am a fan of Hampton Inns.

FYI...Best Western has different levels. Plain Ol' Bestern Western is like Comfort Inn.
Best Western PLUS is equal to Hampton Inn
Best Western Premier is above Hampton Inn's level

We stayed at a Quality Inn one time since there was no Hampton and the Holiday Inn was booked and the only other hotels were Super 8, Days Inn, and Motel 6. But here’s the funny part. The sign was very misleading, because the hotel was not quality at all. Our bedroom had bugs in it, the bathroom was dirty, and the breakfast was cold. We now read the reviews every time we stay at a hotel (especially “Quality” Inn)

And don’t stay at the Super 8 in Oxford ms. It’s trash, and you might get drunks knocking on your door all hours of the night.

La Quinta
I love LaQuinta hotels.

These are our top 10 favorite hotels:

1. Hampton Inn
2. Hilton Garden Inn
3. Courtyard by Marriott
4. Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott
5. Embassy Suites by Hilton
6. TownePlace Suites by Marriott
7. Holiday Inn
8. Homewood Suites by Hilton
9. Residence Inn by Marriott
10. SpringHill Suites by Marriott

Now, if I’d included some of the Disney hotels, then some of these would be off the list.

Homewood suites or embassy suites. Always try to stay with Hilton if possible. If the hotel is inexpensive then I pay the upcharge for double points. :)

We’ve never had a bad experience at Hilton, Marriott, or Holiday Inn, but at the Choice Hotels it’s been 50/50. At the Comfort Inn/Comfort Suites hotels, it has always been a good experience. At the Quality Inn and Sleep Inn, it has been 50/50. At the Wyndham hotels, it has rarely been good at the Super 8 or Days Inn, but at the Wingate, it has been good.
