When it feels like it IS Disney/Magical Moments

Sometimes there is just one of those moments or places that make you feel like "I'm here". It doesn't come that often. You must have the right attitude, and you feel like you are 'there'. Where have you felt this way?

For me, it is:
- During the summer, the trees at Town Square on Main Street.
- Sugar Loaf Concierge at Grand Flo, seeing the marina and the gorgeous trees.
- Anywhere at Grand Flo, actually.
- The EPCOT Center resort area.
- The boat docks at MK, especially towards the evening.

I brought this up before. But, I enjoy sitting by WoL & Uoe Mid afternoon - Evening hearing the UoE loop. I was so happy to see someone actually had a clip of it on Youtube:sohappy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmsSOoGfa_4

Oh Meyla Weyla
These things do it for me every time, they never fail:

- Driving under the arch to enter property
- Riding the monorail... anywhere, but especially through the Contemporary
- Music inside the entrance of Epcot
- Walking World Showcase, every time, never fails
- The smell of oranges in Soarin', and finally again, the smell of Rome burning in SSE

Really in any location, whenever the weather is humid and sometimes when I smell restaurants cooking food from outside, I feel like I've arrived in central Florida.

1. The journey down World Drive into the parks 2. Boarding and riding the monorails 3. The Hub and Castle 4. Tomorrowland Transit Authority (listening to the audio track while relaxing and taking in the sights!) 5. Riding Spaceship Earth and then shopping in MouseGear (although the ride's gonna be a little different when I go down there in a week!!!!!) 6. Walking along the shores of the Rivers of America 7. O Canada! and the American Adventure 8. Shopping at Downtown Disney
I could go on and on, but these represent the defining moments when I say to myself that I'm back in the Magic!!!!

Driving down World Drive
Seeing the Castle for the first time each trip, either from the ferry, or the monorail as it just comes into sight.
Smelling the water in the dark rides like pirates.

When I walked into our room @ CR for the first time and could see the castle.
When the monorail doors close and you hear "Welcome Aboard!" - that's what does it for me....

This thread is giving me goosebumps...

Yes,that gets me EVERY time.

Seeing all the signes on I-4....The water smell....The finale crackle of IllumiNations giving way to the spotlights lighting the smoke and the lights of WS turn back on....The accent into SSE when it's pitch black and all you see is the image of a caveman, lightning, and Jeremy Irons saying"like a grand and miraculous spaceship..."

Shame that's not there any more.

Oh,well, perhaps Dench will give me goosebumps too.

Getting off the plane and feeling that warmth *FWOOSH!* of the Florida air. :king:
Most Definately.

That and:
The smell of bus fumes....lol
The smell of Big Thunder Mtn
The smell of the Main Street Bakery
Hearing the BG loop in Future World (love, love, love it)
The peacefulness of wandering through the AK in the morning (esp. on a summer morning when it's still that cool dampness, but you know it's going to be crazy hot later)
Getting on board your Magical Express bus---and watching that video

I could go on for hours.....
