The Four Seasons resort planned will be on Disney property and will be relatively close to the parks. North of EPCOT and SE of Magic Kingdom. At this point it is still a proposed project I believe. It is part of Disney's Golden Oaks development which is 1.5 million+ private homes in a development which is in the middle of Walt Disney World property.

Boy, it's gonna be really really crowded with that many homes going in.......

The land was de-annexed from Reedy Creek - in other words it was sold. It is no longer Disney property. Work is well underway, and has been for at least a year. This is how it will end up if built to plan:

Right, I wasn't meaning to imply that Disney owns the land. But the land is right smack dab in the middle of Disney property. It's not on the outskirts or anything - it's right on Bay Lake.

As for the 1.5 million+ homes, I assume that was a joke. But I think it's pretty clear that I meant the price range is $1.5 million.

It isn`t in the middle of property.... kind of slammed up to the east service area. And quite a way from Bay Lake.

It is all just personal taste. I absolutely abhor the architecture and decor of the GF. However, I love the minimalist decor and clean lines of the Contemporary and BLT.
Have to agree about the Contemporary. It may not have quite the over-the-top theming of a few other resorts, but there is definitely something about it that makes it one of our favorites, if not THE favorite of our household.

As for the Grand Floridian, the exterior is amazingly themed and beautiful, but staying there doesn't really do anything for me. The interior of the rooms are victorian to the point of feeling like I'm at my grandma's house.
