From Mississippi there is no direct flight to MCO so we have a lay over in Atlanta. Its insance, a 1 hour flight, 30 min layover, and another 1 hour flight. Anyway, My GF comes with me and she smokes so we have to hit one of the smokeing rooms in Atlanta before the next flight (otherwise she gets cranky :fork: ) The smokeing rooms are not very well taken care of and allthe tiles in the celling have fallen out, for some reason i relate that to disney world (Half WaY There!) Now when I go in the server room at school where there are no celling tiles i think of disney world.... I'm nuts.

for me i get the feeling the night before we leave for the airport. i tried to convice my (now) fiance to watch the planning DVD one more time before we went to sleep. he rolled his eyes. but now his attitude has changed

but i think the prime moment is walking through MCO. catching the airport monorail to the baggage claim, hopping aboard the shuttle, and looking for those clever Mickey directional signs to your resort. oooh...just got a good chill thinking about pulling into the French Quarter. :p

For me, the big one is walking through the Train Station and onto Main Street USA!!! :sohappy: There are moments that others have mentioned, like the MCO monorail, stepping out the doors and getting that first burst of Fla. air, etc. But there is nothing like that step onto MSUSA. Then, I know that I am "home". :D

We use to go to Disney every April school vacation since I was about 6 years old. The last time I was in Disney was before I graduated high school in 2000. Now that I'm graduating from college in May, my parents are taking me and my boyfriend to Disney for my graduation gift. My boyfriend has never been to Disney or Florida, so this should be an amazing trip. I would have to say that when I wake up the first morning we are there, take a shower and get ready, when I open the hotel room door and the florida air hits me, I look out and I can feel the Disney atmosphere (I know it's weird but its true), than that is when the feeling hits me and I know I'm really there. I can't wait to go. I'm counting down the days!!!

Good for you! Enjoy your trip and welcome to the boards!! :p
