When do you find out your dining rotation?

I'm one of those super planners. I'd like to know before we leave on our cruise what night is what...I've already started to plan out outfits and such. We've paid in full already but aren't allowed to book anything yet. So, does anyone know how early or when you find out the rotation for dinner? Thanks.

One Little Spark...
Yep. Before 5p (departure) I believe was my cutoff to change my dining...I missed it (too busy getting unpacked, exploring the room, etc...etc..., so we had early dining.

I was told by others who had cruised before (not here) to get the late dining...but, after doing early dining, I sortof liked it. I meant that after port excursions, we went back to the room, went to dinner, and after dinner, half the ship was caught up in their dining!

I requested main dining in my reservation. I'm a little bummed that they don't tell you which restaurant you'll be going to when until you get there. That put a bit of a damper on my need to plan. Oh well... what can you do?

On my last cruise I had a reservation at Palo but didn't want to miss AP so I requested if they could work around that in my rotation. I had placed that call months in advance to ask if it was possible, upon check in, we saw that it was granted. You may want to call and ascertain if you can request a specific MDR for your first night, you'd at least have a starting point.

Yes, definitely request a dining rotation! You don't always get it, but most of the time you will. Then if you arrive and didn't get it, go try to have it changed! :)

The dresser night... does that depend on the restaurant you are assigned to or is it an assigned night of the cruise?
