When another Guest ruins an experience/attraction for you

omg yes...Soarin' - I love this ride and usually only get one shot at it with a FP, since our trips are so short. There were 5 teenage girls sitting in our row who SCREAMED at the top of their lungs every time we soared over a hill, a mountain, a tree...a building, a bird...a dot on the screen...you get the idea.

I hate when people act as if Soarin' is a high speed roller coaster. Oohs, ahs, a loud cheer or applause on something particularly thrilling - fine. Screaming at the top of your lungs at every single thing in the film is totally obnoxious and really killed the immersive experience for everyone who sat near them.

Okay...I feel better now.

This happens on so many rides. People (typically young people) unnessisarily screaming on rides. No one thinks it's funny, it's so annoying.

It annoys me when people say aloud the ghost host narration in the stretching room at the haunted mansion. Also the pushing and shoving when entering the room to get to to buggy.

Yes! When did this "screaming" become a thing at WDW? Last time I was on TSM, two young boys screamed the duration of the ride. Incredibly, there were a number of girls who were screaming during, of all things, "The Circle of Life" movie. My icy glare finally got them to stop. Also, people who talk/converse during an attraction really irritates me. I feel especially sorry for those who might have just one shot at enjoying their vacation at WDW.

Went on it's a Small World and unfortunately we were in the rear of the boat and there was a guy in the front who had not used deodorant or showered. The smell was over powering; could not wait for it to end. My young boys at the time kept saying what's that smell. I don't think the guy got the message as he spoke a foreign language. Redid its a Small World later in the day much better

This happens at DL a lot. But it's hit or miss. Sometimes you'll get a ride where a bunch of people do it and they all scream when the skeleton drops from the ceiling. And then other times I have been on when everyone is enjoying it without saying a word. I much prefer the latter of course.

I still don't get how when someone smells that bad how they can not smell themselves???!!!! Or how their wife or husband or family or friends have not intervened and mentioned it to them. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode with the valet LOL

It's become rampant at HM, ToT, Dinosaur...
Shut up!
I don't care if I've seen the pre show 20 times - I still want to enjoy it - and it is likely to be many other guests first time witnessing the pre show.
Too much blabbering and illuminated cel phones on Pirates and similar shared vehicles like Splash as well.
It's great to ride in an off time when just the family has the entire vehicle.

Thank you-you are so right. It may be your 314th time on the ride, but it may be another guest's first time. Don't ruin it for them! There is plenty of time to carry on a conversation or flip through your phone between attractions and queues. Most of the time it is just endless blabbering about what she wore to the dance or what Tommy did the other day, blah, blah, blah. Why not be in the moment and enjoy all that is around you?!

I find the same situation on the planes when the flight attendants are performing the safety procedures. I give them my full attention, while others continue to blab away. We fly several times a year, but you still should give staff or CMs your fullest attention when they are speaking.

I have never seen people pushing to shovel in all of my years! I will have to watch for that one. Totally agree on the people saying the narration-it's annoying and little kids may be riding for the first time and that doesn't help. I thought it was scary when I was a kid people screaming during the hanging scene makes it yelly. lol

Completely feel the same way about HM. Though my last few times through I've noticed the stretch room sequence starting before I'm through the door.

I usually ride Pirates as many times as I can on our trip to Disney and this last time I was in a boat with a large group that I assume knew eachother. I guess this group owned the park and could do whatever they wanted. Screaming and yelling( I know, Pirates is terrifying). Splashing water, sticking their hands out trying to touch everything. I really felt at the time they should have been ejected. I went on it again with new people and it was great.

About 5 or 6 years ago, we were staying at Port Orleans Riverside for a week.. My mom was walking with me and my little brother who was 8 at the time to the food court... We had a guy in front of us walking to the Food Court with his 4 or 5 year old son who literally could not stop cussing.. He was blank this blank that and was talking to his son and then shoved his son into a bush.. My mom was not happy and told him to stop, but that just made him more mad.. He bowed up to my mom like he was going to fight her and I had to get in-between her and him.. When we got to the food court, I grabbed a security guard and told him what happened.. About thirty minutes later he was in hand cuffs and being escorted off the property.. Apparently, they were already looking for him as he had got into a physical fight with his wife..

The pre show film is part of the ride an enjoyable part of the ride.

Flash photography in Spaceship Earth or Pirates. I hate it so much.

People just sitting in the middle of the row in a theater. I almost didn't have seats at Philharmagic because someone stopped in the middle of the row and I was at the end. So only 50% of the row was seated and by the time I got around to the other side it was full. We had to sit in a handicapped row (I think that's what it was)

This didn't RUIN the attraction, but it was annoying... The first time I rode Frozen Ever After, all of the people in front of us on the boat had their phones/cameras out at arm's length recording and taking pictures of everything, so it wasn't exactly an optimal experience for the first time on a ride.

One time my experience may have actually been ruined was an older couple sitting in front of me at Muppet Vision. They KEPT turning around and telling me to stop kicking the wife's seat (which I had not done). After the first time, I made it a point to basically have my knees at a 90 degree angle so my feet were completely flat on the floor a good distance from even POSSIBLY touching her chair. However, they did it several more times, didn't believe me when I said I hadn't done it (and even pointed at my feet), and also didn't like it when I just stopped acknowledging them. It turns out (and I didn't notice this until almost the end of the show), the way those theater seats are locked together, there was a guy like two seats down from them that kept leaning forward and backward trying to get comfortable, and every time he moved, it basically pulled the other seats around him slightly forward or backward, which they thought was me kicking. I considered explaining that to them when the show was over, but a) I'm sure they wouldn't believe me, b) I was ready to move on to something else, and c) they seemed like miserable people that I didn't want to talk to any more than was 100% necessary.

I worked in a research lab and they hired a tech who obviously did not bath regularly and the body odor would linger in the lab after he left, I think you must become immune to your own smell. This went on for weeks and finally he was let go for other reasons. I don't think any one ever confornted him. You would think family would say something. Sienfeld great comedy about nothing
