Empress, do you live in Florida??? I'd love for you to be my tour guide, seriously!
Alas, I live even further from WDW than you do. All the way in cold drab Europe!

One day we'll make it both to WDW at the same time. And then I'll buy you a nice drink, we'll find a quiet spot around beautiful World Showcase lagoon, with a view of Spaceship Earth, and we'll reminisce about Walt's love for the Disneyland he built and the EPCOT he dreamed of.

I prefer WDW because I've grown up going to it and there are more options, so I tend to favour WDW. That being said, I chose Disneyland as the best individual park. Considering how much I love the Magic Kingdom, I honestly can't see how someone would take MK over Disneyland had they been to both.
I've been to DL. A swell place. But I love the MK more. I also think the MK is infinitely prettier than DLP. :)
Good old Roy...he would build the best park ever to honour his beloved baby brother if it was the last thing he would do! God I love him!

I'm an outlier here my favorite is DHS or Epcot depending on my mood. I absolutely love the Hollywood that never was feel and I could sit on Sunset and just look at ToT all day! My favorite thing to do at Disney though is stroll through WS and eat/drink around the world I don't even feel like I'm at Disney until I've been to WS. Cannot wait to go to California Adventure and DL some day as well!!!

Disneyland is my favorite because I'm a huge fan of Walt Disney (the man) and that was really his park. You can just feel the history in that place.

I agree, and this is coming from a WDW veteran with a biased opinion prior to walking into Disneyland. It is clearly the best park. I never thought anything could top Magic Kingdom with all of its beauty and mystique but it did. For whatever reason Disneyland uses every inch of space with attractions while MK has more than enough space and is lacking in that area. They could add a few more and still have the luxury of having open space and such.

AK is just so unique and detailed. I could stare at the details for hours. I think this park does need some love, but I find myself thinking this may just be my favorite. :)

It's been so long since I have been to Disneyland....so I voted for MK because well nothing says Disney quite like MK. It is also the only park where I will go on every ride. Not a ride there intimidates me. But I almost said Epcot, it is probably the park I like to stroll around in the best and it has Soaring which I ride with a smile on my face, and I love the WS with the food and the shows and the exhibits and shops.

I just can't get enough of MK. The atmosphere when you walk up Main Street in the morning is incomparable. Truthfully, there is just so much nostalgia in MK for me that there will never be a place that compares to it in WDW or anywhere else.

The Magic Kingdom is just so wonderful. It is Disney to me. The view of the castle at the end of MSUSA is incredible and the overall feel of that place is just "home".

MK is certainly my favorite, but the more I go to EPCOT, the more I love it and feel it catching up to MK on my list of favorites.

Since I can't go back to EPCOT in the late 80's/early 90's, my favorite park BY FAR is Tokyo DisneySEA....nothing else comes close.
