Home. Seriously. I live in beautiful South Florida, I live in a nice house with a spacious back yard, I know where to find all of the cool places within my area, and all of my stuff is here. I love to travel, but I'm a generally happy and satisfied guy right here at home.

Me too- I'm on the Gulf Coast- it's darn near perfect here. I would love to visit D.C. just for the history.

Now I really feel like I am in a bubble.. besides the short trip that I won to California, I have never been on vacation anywhere but Disney World!

....and I don't mind keeping it that way! :)

I'm with ya! I was born in Indiana and moved to SW Fl when I was 8. Other than honeymooning in the Poconos and one cruise, I've never been anywhere:oops:. I haven't even been to Key West! We are heading to Orlando in 2 weeks (w/o the kid) and are planning a Dec trip for the whole family. When we were working on the budget, DH says, "ya know there's a WHOLE other world outside of Orlando". I don't know if I can keep him tied to Orlando much longer . Normally when that happens, we go on our trip and he comes home wanting to plan another- fingers crossed

For me it's Gatlinburg, Tn. or Myrtle Beach, Sc. Both are the same to me just one has beach and one has mountains.

I am excited to see someone else list Gatlinburg. That's one of the first places that came to mind when I saw this thread. DH & I love it there, the mountains are beautiful! The town is so quaint too.

Some of my other favorites besides WDW: Carmel, Hilton Head, Aruba & Wilmington NC

I have to admit that although I'm from the UK, our trips have been very States-centric over the years ;) Apart from WDW, NYC is my favourite, favourite place in the world :) Also love Chicago, Vegas, Boston, Seattle, Miami, San Antonio.... (we're not really beachy people as you can tell, but Hawaii was stunning when we visited).

Outside of the States, Sydney, Hong Kong and Bangkok were wonderful experiences and in Europe, you can't go wrong with Paris and Rome but we also fell in love with Scandinavia a little bit, especially Norway :)

There's still a ton of places on our bucket list though. DH in particular, is desparate to visit South America, whereas I really want to do more of South East Asia, like Malaysia, Japan, China, Vietnam & Cambodia.

I have loved everywhere i have been in America so far! New York, Chicago, California, Nevada.... I would probably have to say Los Angeles/ Venice beach area. It's really artistic and fun there! Something magical (In a no Disney way of course!) about it!

I have been to D.C. several times, and it really is a great place to visit. Most of the museums have free access, and the ones that charge an entrance fee are well worth the price of admission. There are seemingly limitless things to do when combining the city with the surrounding areas and attractions. The only thing that ruins D.C. is the politicians, but a can of bug spray usually keeps them away.

We enjoy visiting Arizona to see my grandmother. Have been to the Grand Canyon twice and Vegas once. Savannah, GA is also beautiful. I've been to Europe as well.. Switzerland and Germany. Both were amazing places! NYC is also a fun place. Always something to do there, always busy. Expensive, but fun.

Actually, we like the mountains, especially in the Fall. We head up to the Poconos every year. We love snow too!!! Don't ski, I'm old LOL so do horse back riding in the snow or snow tubing.

Pretty much anywhere in California, but honorable mention goes out to San Francisco and anywhere along the ocean! Great memories of a vacation out there last year with my best friend.

Another favorite is Mackinac Island. Great place to simply get away from it all. Small island, no cars, slower pace and no matter where on the island you are, there is no bad view.

I would someday like to return to Belgium. I was there on business in 2006 and it was amazing. The culture, food, micro beers, and chocolate were out of this world. I would love to see this country added to WS. I would spend my vacation there reliving the memories.

That is a great question, i see New Orleans on a daily basis for me. I love seeing the white sand and blue water, Pensacola and Orange Beach area.

But i do love my Mardi Gras!!!
