will have my first one this march... pretty excited

I just had it for the first time this past fall, and now im totally obsessed. I went to Tampa shortly after with my sister and mom to visit my Aunt and I talked them into making reservations at Kona Cafe for breakfast before we went to visit her, so I could get a Dole Whip at Captain Cooks! haha.

The Apple Strudel in Biergarten in Germany, EPCOT!

Absolutely fantastic! Though I had lots to eat before then (as its a buffet) so didn't have much more room to fit it in!

I really enjoyed the pistachio brulee at Tony's and Raglan Road's bread pudding, too

And I forgot about this one, but the strawberry shortcake at Hoop De Doo was really yummy!
I agree with the pistachio brulee at Tony's...it is great. I am surprised that I did see the grapefruit cake at Hollywood Brown Derby in this thread! The "Moose" at Le Cellier adn the Smores are fantastic as well.

Well, there used to be the desert scene in Horizons called Mesa Verde, but since that's gone, I don't know of any deserts at Disney World...

There's a desert scene near the beginning of The Land ride. And in Soarin' there's a shot of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. The landscape in Big Thunder is desert-like. I read that the parking lot for the AK is supposed to be The Sahara leading up to the lush, tropical landscape of the park itself. Catastrophe Canyon is supposed to be the Mojave, I believe. I'm sure I've missed some but there are lots of deserts at WDW. Oh, and of course Mars is a desert planet!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the Ugly But Good was recently removed from the dessert menu. (Along with Gelato Frizzante) See HERE.

Odd.

I ate there on Monday (Jan 10) at 7:45 PM and both of those items were indeed on the dessert menu.

I didn't have them, but they were there.
