What's up with fortune cookies these days?

Did a fortune cookie company get sued or something? I'm sitting here eating my lunch which is Chinese delivery food and I open my fortune cookie and it says "You have an ability to sense and know higher truth" What the H#ll's up with that? Does anyone remember when fortune cookies actually gave you your fortune? I want them to tell me I'm going to take a trip or come into money or something. If I wanted insight into my psyche, I'd go to a shrink. All the "fortunes" that I've been getting from cookies have been this way. What is this world coming to?!

But Freak, it just shouldn't be that way! Not with fortune cookies! How am I supposed to make the important decisions that will alter the course of my life when these stupid little slips of paper only try to kiss up to me by making me sound like this amazing sort of person?

How am I supposed to make the important decisions that will alter the course of my life when these stupid little slips of paper only try to kiss up to me by making me sound like this amazing sort of person?

Next you open one say "In bed" before reading the rest. It puts a new spin on it!

This whole thing reminds me:
Do ya remember that Twilight Zone episode with the little devil fortune telling machine in the restaurant?...you can see the actually prop from that episode on top of the bookshelves in the Library in the Tower of Terror...I took a picture of it but by the time I get the pix developed it will be ancient history and this thread will have grown grey whiskers....:eek: :eek: :eek:

Well...as I write this..the little devil is telling me we are about to get slapped with a lightening storm......so..........poof....I'm gone!
