What's the time span for fast passes?

I'm trying to plan out our trip and soon I'll be able to book our fast passes. Is there a time window allowed (like if you're running a few minutes late)?

Oh okay sorry! Lol. I never tried early many times but once we did show up a few minutes early and they said we had to wait. So im not sure of the 5 minutes ahead either. Lol

I think it depends on which ride to be honest. If it's like Toy Story in HS then NO they prob won't let you in early or late bc that ride is always "jumping". Lol But something like Pirates I've definitely walked in earlier than my FP time.
