What's the name of this Christmas song?

On the George C Scott verion of "A Christmas Carol", at the very end of the movie (when the ending credits come up), there is a Christmas song played that I would like to know the name of. Here are some of the words:

So grant us all a change of heart
rejoice for Mary's Son
Bring Peace on Earth to all mankind
God bless us everyone.

Sounds like a really cool Christmas song and I would kind of like to find it on an album. Anyone know the name of it?

I was able to find this...

God Bless Us Everyone
(Music by Nick Bicat, lyrics by Tony Bicat)

The past of man is cold as ice:
He would not mend his ways.
He strove for silver in his heart
And gold in all his days.
His reason weak, his anger sharp,
And sorrow all his pay,
He went to church but once a year,
And that was Christmas Day.

So grant us all a change of heart,
Rejoice for Mary’s son;
Pray, Peace on earth to all mankind,
God bless us everyone!

The present man is full of flame:
He rushes here and there.
He turns away the orphan child,
The widow in her chair.
He eats for ten, he drinks for twelve,
Forgets how brief his stay,
And stands a-jingling of his change
In church on Christmas Day.

So grant us all a change of heart,
Rejoice for Mary’s son;
Pray, Peace on earth to all mankind,
God bless us everyone!

The man to come we do not know:
May he make peace on earth,
And live the glory of the Word,
The message of the birth,
And gather all the children in
To banish their dismay,
Lift up his heart among the bells
In church on Christmas Day.

So grant us all a change of heart,
Rejoice for Mary’s son;
Pray, Peace on earth to all mankind,
God bless us everyone!

From what I gather, it was written for the movie.
Don't know if you can find just the music anywhere.

Thanks for the info, guys.

I was afraid that maybe it was just recorded for the movie, but I was really hoping it was a real Christmas song. Oh well, I guess anytime I need to hear it, I can just put the movie in. *sigh*

There is a sound track album, but it has the large choral singing of "God Bless Us Everyone" in the finale music. The fragment where a street band sings it does not appear to be available in full. I corresponded with the composer, Nick Bicát, regarding it many years ago, and he couldn't point me to a good recording.

Such a shame. When I first heard the song fragment in the movie, I wondered how I could have missed such a perfect Victorian carol, then I learned (DOH!) that it was written for the film. But written perfectly in character. It fits the point of the story perfectly, but doesn't limit itself to the plot of A Christmas Carol. It also captures the best of the Christian spirit, asking not for benefits, but to "grant us all a change of heart" so we may improve as Scrooge did.

Musescore offers a score (for money), but it doesn't look promising. It has the chorus in a crude harmony in 3ds (which I'm pretty sure is wrong), and it shows the chorus with triplets, while it really sounds like a shift to 6/8 meter. It's real easy to learn and teach if you want to do it with friends and family.

PLEASE, PLEASE, somebody do a decent no-nonsense recording (preferably in the street band style). I WOULD PAY FOR IT!
