But if you read Les Miserables in the way that I would read it :D you will see that it is showing the truth of the French. They will savagely kill their own people who did nothing wrong but have money, and say that it is for freedom. But they wont kill a Dictator that has killed thousands of his own people. makes no sense.

The bottom line in this all, is that the french and the rest of the world realize that our administration is fighting this war not for moral reasons, but for personal interests. If this were strictly a war based on the fact that iraq has WMD, then we are being quite ironic. North Korea posses a much bigger threat weapon wise than Iraq ever could. I am also quite sure that Cheney and Rumsfield have their hands in this. Cheney was the CEO of an oil company that looks to profit from the war, and Rumsfield in 1999 sold TWO nuclear reactors to the North Koreans....this is a pretty shady conflict and people do not realize it. I started this forum to have fun, i have nothing against the french, they are just tired of getting beat up. All the European countries look down on us, because we did something they could not. That being the elimination of the nazis from the face of the earth.

Your grasp of history is only outshone by your eloquent use of language. One suggestion though perhaps you should use text books for reference instead of Hollywood movies.

Yea man. The British helped and so did the Russians. We didn't do it single handedly, and yes we did come in and revive the allied assault, but we didnt defeat the Nazis alone.

Let me rephrase that. Of the non-european nations. The brits are still on our side. Russia does not agree with any war really. Countries like Germany, France, Belgium, are not to keen about the United States, and it will always be that way. I have no problem with europe, why does europe have something against us? Do they recall the Marshall Plan??? Perhaps we should start asking for our money back? We did rebiuld europe...no questions asked, other than to keep communism from spreading. I don't get why so many countries are sore at us.
