Honestly, how bad was it that Disney had to actually change one of their theme park's name?
Almost all of the WDW parks have atleast two words.
Magic Kingdom
EPCOT Center
Animal Kingdom *why must they call it Disney's animal kingdom....:hurl:
EPCOT, ...IS.... truly an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Sure, its not the progress city idea that Walt had originally planned for the vacation kingdom, but still
with the exception of the failed Man and His World concept from the old 1967 montreal world's fair that lasted until the 1980s....EPCOT...is an experiment in a permanent world's fair with an extra touch of Disney showmanship.
It is truly the first of its kind, in terms of universal message, and success. It's a community of ideas, of discovery, and inspiration, and its built on making tomorrow a better place to live in.
I just don't see how hard it is on using caplocks....if Disney could copyright it or atleast reserve its rights back in the 1980s, I don't see why that can't now or atleast use "Epcot Center" instead.
All they need is a nice sign, with a new area for the dedication plaque at the park's entrance that reads something like:
Welcome
to
the
Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow
"The most inspiring place on earth"
a center to entertain, inform, and inspire, and above all make tomorrow'sworld a better place to live in.
