When going to the parks what do you typically carry with you?
We have 4 kids, 1 still in diapers, so we have to take a lot or so it seems to me. I feel like a pack mule at times :dazzle:
But usually this is what we always take, and I would LOVE to cut back on some of it:
*camera and video camera
*diapers (5 or so) and wipes
*change of outfit for the younger 2, usually have some sort of accident
*sippy cups of water for the younger 2
*sunblock
*germ-x

WOW..that doesn't seem like a lot but when I am carrying it in the FL heat it seems like a whole lot more!

ETA: I knew I was forgetting things, we also carry:
ID's, KTTW cards, money/cards, autograph books, cell phone oh vey

I blame it on this guy.

I bring him (and his slapchop) along with my blender.

If you can slap a hooker, you can slap a SlapChop - best parody ever

When my kids were in diapers, I carried diapers and wipes. Once they were out of them, that was it. I carry a small camera, wallet, and cell phone.

I have never carried a change of clothes for my kids. However I can tell you the only places in both EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom where they sell underwear. :) Really, would rather travel light and deal with any "emergencies" as they arise, rather than pack it all in. It's a theme park, not a two day hike to the nearest trailhead.

Ah, a man after my own heart. Wish my DH felt the same way! He was never a boyscout, but you wouldn't know it - we are "always prepared!" :)

DH packs a back pack for our 6 year old (yes 6!) with a change of clothes, a jacket/ poncho, water, juice, and just about everything else I can't argue him out of leaving in the hotel room.

I pack a bag for DD with diapers, wipes, cell phone and Key to the World. Then DH runs out of room in his backpack and starts packing his cr*p in my bag...... sigh.....

But we are both guilty of loading down the camera bag! Cameras, lens(es), batteries, all sorts of stuff.

I think my youngest was around 5 or 6 the last time I had to make an emergency underwear purchase. :) More like 5 now that I think about it.

I know it's up to the individual parents and children, but my kids have been out of strollers and walking since they were 4, and I stopped carrying things like juice boxes, snacks, band aids, etc long before that time.

We also make good use of having the stores ship packages back to your resort. No carrying stuff for us :)

THis year it my DS5, my mom and I and I had a Messenger bag with my digital SLR camera w/extra batterie, water bottle, mine and DS wallets, regular and blister band-aids, baggie of extra trading pins, glasses and contact case, rewet drops, advil and immodium. DS pin lanyard frequently ended up in my bag and I wore my lanyard and kept my iPhone in my pocket. Those Suite Life episodes i put on my phone came in handy in a couple of long lines.

Last time we went to Disney in Jan 2008 my DDwas 11 and DS was 6. We carried a small back pack with:

cell phone
antibacterial wipes
chap stick
sunscreen (I always wear it even in the winter and put it on the kids because I had skin cancer on my nose 3 years ago)
cash
debit card
KTTW card
kids autograph books and pens
kids pin lanyards usually wound up in the backpack
small ziploc with (motrin, immodium, benadryl, tums)
tissues
gum
sweatshirt for each of the kids
eye drops(for my contacts)

* Now when the kids were little and I carried a diaper bag that is a different story. The diaper bag had everything in it and then some. My mom used to tell me that my kids could survive a month with what I carried in that bag!
