When going to the parks what do you typically carry with you?
We have 4 kids, 1 still in diapers, so we have to take a lot or so it seems to me. I feel like a pack mule at times :dazzle:
But usually this is what we always take, and I would LOVE to cut back on some of it:
*camera and video camera
*diapers (5 or so) and wipes
*change of outfit for the younger 2, usually have some sort of accident
*sippy cups of water for the younger 2
*sunblock
*germ-x

WOW..that doesn't seem like a lot but when I am carrying it in the FL heat it seems like a whole lot more!

ETA: I knew I was forgetting things, we also carry:
ID's, KTTW cards, money/cards, autograph books, cell phone oh vey

camera, wallet, cell phone, inhaler, lip gloss, tissues...

I think those are probably the only essentials. But, you know, I don't have kids. :)

We always carried too much stuff with us before, but now that we have a child, it seems even worse!

We carry diapers, wipes, A&D cream, extra outfits, sippy cup, small soft sided cooler for milk/water, jacket, wet ones, table covers for our son, snacks for son, lotion, camera, extra battery, video camera, cell phones, ID, dining reservation #'s, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.....good thing we travel with our huge travel system stroller so we don't have to carry all of this ourselves anymore!

No kids -

I don't carry a bag.
Just put stuff in the pockets of my cargo shorts.
Plus camera around neck.

Just take room key/park ticket, $20, spare batteries, cell phone.

Tks.
:)

I also don't have kids and travel solo, so for the most part I pack my bag with:

Camera & memory cards
Batteries
Book
Eye drops
Glasses
Poncho/coat/sweatshirt (depending on time of year)

We leave the everyday diaper bag at home and use a back pack. It's much easier to carry around when needed. I'm sure my list won't help you cut down any. For about 90% of the day the backpack is in the stroller. On a typical day here's what I carry. Wallet & phone I keep in my pockets

Camera &/or Video camera (when not in my hand, I keep them in ziploc bags so they stay dry)
Diapers 6-8 per day (also in ziploc)
Wipes
Change of clothes for baby (you guessed it, in a ziploc)
Sunblock
Ponchos
Snacks (fruit snacks, goldfish, pretzels)
Sippy cup
A couple of small toys, like "little people," for emergencies
Hand Sanitizer
Band-aids (just in case)

We tried taking a video camera and its accessories ONCE and will never do it again.

There are 4 of us, 3 adults and 1 6yo boy.

I carry resort ID/theme park ticket, driver's license, 1 credit card and some cash, blackberry, and a water bottle (usually via neck strap) and I wear a hat or visor. I leave my wallet at home.

My 18yo son carries resort ID/theme park ticket, cell phone, driver's license and some cash - we sometimes take turns with the water bottle

My wife loves her Digital SLR and in her camera bag she carries resort ID/theme park ticket, driver's license, cell phone, some cash, a small amount of makeup, sunscreen, sometimes a very small notebook.

The 6yo sometimes carries his own autograph book and pen, and sometimes a water bottle and usually wears a hat.

We're happy the diaper/stroller days are over.

No kids, just Love and I. (Or Love and I and friends.)

Small card wallet with ID's, tickets and credit cards.
Napkins/tissues
Glasses case (to trade out sunglasses/regular glasses as needed)
Camera
Small pouch with various medical supplies (Tylenol, Imodium, nail clipper, etc.)
Trading pins
Mints
Cell phone
iPod (don't like leaving it in the car)
A couple of hair ties
A couple Zingers To Go (naturally sweetened flavors to add to water)

Mostly, there's a lot of little things that I've found come in handy after so many, many trips to WDW.

I'm trying each year to reduce how much goes into the parks with us..a lot of it depends on the park we go to...

Usually DH threads the shoulder strap from the camera case thru his belt loops and wears it that way, while I carry a bag containing headphones/other things our son might need who has autism, first aid kit, lipbalm, kleenex, germ cleaner, and sometimes our camcorder. We all wear lanyards with our WDW resort cards and we have small battery operated fans that will also attach to the lanyards.
Funny story is no matter what kind of bag I've packed in the past to carry our stuff in, it never works out....but I usually find one in a gift shop that has what I need.....maybe that's a giant rationalization on my part, but I'm not even packing one this time...just going to the gift shop after we check in.
