So I'm on my balcony at the Contemporary right now listening to the "Electric Slide" being played in the MK while the lights on the castle are going nuts and floodlights are swirling. All this after park close. What's the deal?

So in cases like these, do the party goers just rent the space, or do they keep all the attractions, etc going after hours as well?

Astro orbiter was running for sure. They had a DJ playing dance music and fireworks as mentioned above. I got some pics with a 55 mm lense so they won't be terribly close up but they show a nice sequence of color changes on the castle and the flood lights swirling in the sky. I'll try to post when I'm home.

All depends on how much the group pays. Just like almost anything at Disney, if you have the money, Disney will make it happen. There is probably a set rate for keeping an attraction open, or an entire land open, etc. I have been to post race parties at DHS and they keep only a few rides open, while using open spaces for dance parties.

I'd love to know how much to keep the park open, all attractions but not food or shops, until the wee hours. Add on a private dinner inside CRT, a desert buffet in the hub, and Wishes. Need to know in case that lottery ticket comes thru. Lol!

Look around the park for all the sponsors and cross reference to the company holding the Conference. That is part of how much a park is opened to a company.

The company that rented out MK lastnight was called Granger.

To answer the question about how much the park cost to rent out; my manager at AK told me when he worked at DHS it was a little shy of a million JUST FOR THE PARK. Then from there it only went up. If you wanted rides open, characters out for meet and greets, food, exc. it just went up.

IMO, MK would be the most expensive to rent out.

Hope this helps!
