What yahoo is handling Disney's social media?

And how much do they pay them?
This is just embarrassing. (Screenshot from my own phone, just now.)

Disney's attempts at social media interaction have always been cringeworthy. I still remember all of the times they tried and failed to create a viral video for the parks.

It’s the fact it’s been left up for days without an edit that gets me 😭🤦‍♂️😂

I doubt Disney goes back and reviews posts after they're done, because they have so many accounts to handle at a time.

Which doesn't excuse what happened, but I'm not surprised an error like this would just be ignored.

Oof. Your penance is to watch both the original Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty from start to finish.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the most important people at Disney, aren’t fully aware of the company’s incredible history. Movies or parks.

Splash mountain is NOT 60 years old, and Nondescript coasters themed to India or something is a lot better then cheap coaster overlays involving the pursuit of an infant. Snow White was an achievement of monumental proportion for the company, not something that needs to be reshot and changed for modern audiences.

Didn’t Disney recently re-master Snow White? I think they intend to keep it the way it was originally shot.

I think many of those in charge today are embarrassed by some of the company's history.

I’m not sure, I was referring to the Rachel Ziegler live action version that’s coming soon, and all the drama surrounding it.

Oh okay. That doesn’t affect the original movie though. The historic animation will still exist.

Yes as far as I’m aware. The live action based on the leaks and rumors doesn’t respect the original story and they intend to deviate from it. Several negative stories have already been attached to the project.

It’s like the lucasfilm dramas, all of the unpopular projects coming from the studio is just devaluing the originals and the brand in general.

I think they just want to tell a completely different story. Greta Gerwig is involved in writing it. I’m looking forward to it.

Not everything is for everyone. The original animated film will still be there for those who love it. The remake will hopefully be good and can provide a more modern story for those who choose to see it. I kind of like that Disney is giving people choices.
