What would your choice of next attraction movies be?

Ok so admittedly the last Pirates wasn't great but it's been a few years now. If you could make any park attraction in to a movie, what one would it be and how would you do it?

To me, movies based on attractions can work very well; if done correctly. In my opinion, I'd like to make a movie either on Tower of Terror(yes I know one was made already) and Expedition Everest.

A Tower of Terror movie could be both creepy and dramatic if you focus more on the event that lead to the elevator crash, rather then wondering what happened. Like actually show what happened. Some episodes had a meaning or moral behind the events that took place. A writer and director could have some fun creating a story about the five people that were on that elevator in 1939. Also would be neat to shoot it in black and white as well.

Everest could be good too. The rides got a good story of conservation with the Yeti. Joe Rhode said on a tv special that the message of the yeti is that you dont have a right to everything you may want to claim. A story of adventures trying to climb the "Forbiden Mountian" for something(Like a plant that could be cure for a disease. That was the reported plot for the Jungle Cruise movie). Then the whole story becomes evading the yeti, while a few members of the party want to kill the yeti.

I dont know. Just some quick ideas, made in five minutes without much thought, from an aspiring writer.

Can I vote for "none"?

Making a ride from scratch based on a movie is fine. To me, that's what WDW is all about...being familiar with Disney's movies and cartoons and being able to go to WDW and see them come to life in the various attractions.

However, in my opinion, to take an existing attraction and make a movie out of it, is a bad idea. Because then they have to go back and tamper with the classic attraction to make it fit the movie. I am in the seeming minority of people who think the original POTC was alot better than the post-movie refurb.

I'm actually planning on writing a script for a Haunted Mansion reboot that is much truer to the attraction than the poor Eddie Murphy version was. Mine would be dark, dramatic, still somewhat comedic and have lots and lots of references to the actual attraction. Mine would also be based around the WDW version of the attraction instead of the Disneyland version from the previous film. The only concern I have with my current concept is the fact that it is very backstory based and features two intertwining storylines that may be deemed too complicated for the audience the film would be marketed to, but it's just a concept and nothing more at this point...

I also have a concept idea for a Journey Into Imagination film. My dream casting would be Robin Williams as Dreamfinder if this project ever got off the ground.

Two other ideas I have would be Jungle Cruise starring Sam Rockwell as the witty Skipper and Expedition: Everest, a chilling adventure story loosely based on the AK attraction.

It was just for general discussion - not meaning that anything would actually get made.

How about just make a Twilight Zone episode with ToT? Start the series up again, make a huge load of $ with advertisements, and include that in the new season?

Yes, I understand that. You asked which attraction we would like to see made into a movie, and I stated my opinion on the question, which is "none", and I gave my reason why. I thought that was what these discussion threads were about.
