What would you un-do?

These are my thoughts:

Bring back the original Journey into the imagination.

Bring back the skyway.

Make COP a full time ride.

also bring back WOM and Horizons and find new areas to put TT and Mission to Space(if it's any good)

and finally give back the sponsorship to the living seas it's a great ride.

As for Horizons...I would update it. For example, the Choose your Own Ending section was in horrible condition, the narration could be heard from other cars...parts of it was a mess. However, it was still a dazzling attraction. If Horizons was to come back...I suppose if Mission Space IS a simulator, it could have been added; but I would take Horizons into consideration for a serious and long rehab for many of the scenes.

Does anyone here think Dreamflight was actually a good ride? I was so bored with it as a child and to be honest I think I would now too.

Dreamflight and If You Had Wings were interesting - and breathtaking at points. VERY Nostalgic and original. I can see how some people can find them boring if they're looking for more fast paced attractions.

I was thinking of some reincarnation of both in the Motion pavilion, which I would find TOTALLY COOL!

Barrell bridge is there... I just sprained my ankle on it.

OK.. Here's what I would un-do

Hmmm...

This is a toughie....

Well, Horizons would have been saved, but you know what? It was in MAJOR need of an overhaul.

WoM... GM was going to pull out unless a new attraction was put in place. I am not missing WoM as much as I miss Horizons. That one doesn't bother me as much.

I would undo GE EVER being allowed to sponsor anything. Every attraction they have ever sponsored they paid just enough to get their name on it... CoP, Horizons... Let them just keep Illuminations and NEVER LET THEM SPONSOR ANOTHER PAVILLION AGAIN!!!

Wonders of Life... Too commercial now. It really needs to be updated, or removed.

Universe of Energy... Dump the lesbian. She's not funny, and not enough people know her or Bill Nye anymore. Too much of a 90's thing there now... I would have just updated the old show

Disney-MGM Studio's...
Bring back the original backlot tour... The 20 minute home version just ain't enough

OK.. Done for now. I'm sure I'll think of more later.

I would bring back the Skyway, Horizons, 20K, and Mr. Toad. And I would bring back the Disney Institute. Not necessarily the school aspect just the resort. Formerly known as the Disney Villas. It was close to the marketplace and you could ride your rented golf cart around the resort and park at Downtown Disney. I have stayed in almost every resort on property and this one was my favorite. It was the first Disney resort I stayed on during my first Disney World trip.:(

1. There is nothing wrong with Universe of Energy, and I disagree wholeheartedly with anyone who thinks Ellen isn't humorous. The lesbian snipe was uncalled for as well.
2. Test Track is lame. I'm not sure why many put this on their Best of Disney list, as I found it dull and just a lame way to slap a speed attraction in Epcot. Bring back World of Motion.
3. I also quite liked Dreamflight, though I wouldn't begrudge Buzz his new home.
4. Please bring back the old Journey Into Imagination.
5. Horizons!
6. I would like to see the old Kitchen Kabaret. Food Rocks! is fine, but I would like to check out its predecessor.
7. Oh, and most importantly, bring back the old Tiki Room. That loud, obnoxious mess they've got in there now, while technically more advanced, is in every other way challenged.
8. Overall, I just want to know, who has got it in for the audio-animatronic attractions? Has anyone else noticed how they're slowly but surely being replaced with cheaper stuff? Anyone who touches Spaceship Earth is gonna have to deal with me...

I really agree with you on most of those points!! Very similar to reply #1, eh? ;)

Too bad you never saw KK; I believe www.digital-disney.com has a video; but it's nothing like really being there. This was an EXCELLENT revue with music by Buddy Baker and X. Atencio with dozens of loveable and round 3-D Animatronics. To me, Food Rocks doesn't even match close.

KK was "killed" after 12 years of operation. Hopefully, Food Rocks will live as long, if not less, and there will be a nicer replacement there.

Unfortunately, old attractions can't be back. Maybe if we wish reaaallly hard upon a star, we may see some sort of tribute pavilion to tribute the lost attractions...but nothing was as magical as these originals. I hope to see another truly well-rounded E-Ticket coming in the next decade.

As for the Tiki Room - ouch - I couldn't have explained it better. They through the Walt out and the Iago in. As for Test Track, while people like us hate it, many others are in love with it. I wish TT could have been built around WOM, like I said earlier, and maybe an additional area for a Flight (ala If You had Wings/ Take Flight) - that way the pavilion has a more of an essense of motion to it and not the way people make cars. And scream while testing them...

Here's a pic to help ya out with your journey to the KK:

Disney Studios

I was disappointed to learn that the park icon for the studios has changed from the Earful Tower to the 100 yrs hat. I do like both but its when I spot the Tower for the first time that I know I have arrived!

Does anyone know if this due to the switch from "MGM" to "Disney" studios?

They were a small drum corps consisting of several soprano bugules, some mellophones, baritiones, a tuba and percussion.
They rocked!

Oh man! I'd totally forgotten about them, and I can't believe I did...I am such a band/corps freak! They really did kick some a$$, didn't they?

I would bring back the original JII. Also Horizons and World of Motion. If you had wings...had wings...had wings would be nice to bring back too. I like the new rides that have replaced them, so I wish there was a way to do both.:(
