I really agree with you on most of those points!! Very similar to reply #1, eh?
Too bad you never saw KK; I believe
www.digital-disney.com has a video; but it's nothing like really being there. This was an EXCELLENT revue with music by Buddy Baker and X. Atencio with dozens of loveable and round 3-D Animatronics. To me, Food Rocks doesn't even match close.
KK was "killed" after 12 years of operation. Hopefully, Food Rocks will live as long, if not less, and there will be a nicer replacement there.
Unfortunately, old attractions can't be back. Maybe if we wish reaaallly hard upon a star, we may see some sort of tribute pavilion to tribute the lost attractions...but nothing was as magical as these originals. I hope to see another truly well-rounded E-Ticket coming in the next decade.
As for the Tiki Room - ouch - I couldn't have explained it better. They through the Walt out and the Iago in. As for Test Track, while people like us hate it, many others are in love with it. I wish TT could have been built around WOM, like I said earlier, and maybe an additional area for a Flight (ala If You had Wings/ Take Flight) - that way the pavilion has a more of an essense of motion to it and not the way people make cars. And scream while testing them...
Here's a pic to help ya out with your journey to the KK:
