What would you say to someone in your party that is complaining while your at WDW?

I was at the last Star Wars weekend this year with a friend and DHS was very crowded. My buddy was getting very grumbly about the crowds and fining it difficult to handle. I said "I know the perfect place to get into the Spirit!" and after snagging fast passes for Star Tours I dragged him into the Tune-In lounge. Several margaritas later we were back in the throng heading in to use our fast Passes but with a much better attitude! I did eventually figure out why he was so grumpy - he was the rebel spy!!

This is what I would and have done.
Look them straight in the eyes and say the following.
"Do I look like Snow White to you? Then stop acting like Grumpy."
or
"I know Snow White and the seven dwarfs live here, but you do not look like Grumpy to me, so STOP acting like him."
You are much kinder than I am.
"I'm sorry, you must have me confused with someone who gives a damn."
This is more my speed.

This post SERIOUSLY needed to be made about 2 weeks ago. ROFL

Honestly though, it probably wouldn't have helped my situation. My FIL is an all around, very negative. Im very positive and try and stay upbeat, BUUUUT, Im not afraid of confrontation at all, so we've exchanged words a few times and Im not afraid to stand my ground.

We'd be those adults fighting at the parks with people walking around us like "Oh my gosh, is wrong with them"....HAHAHA

I'd put my hand behind my ear and say " Sorry my battery has went dead " then yell back " So what disease have you contracted ":)
Someone did something kind of like that once to me (but all in good fun - I wasn't being an or anything to deserve it lol). It was years ago and I was at a restaurant with my then boyfriend and a few of our friends. I was taunting him by putting whipped cream on his nose and was going to put sprinkles on it but instead he stood up, literally kicked the chair under the table (in the restaurant) and yelled (yes yelled like as in loudly) "What do you mean I'm not the father???"

So... I change my answer... I'd do that back to whoever it was (though I'd say mother lol).

when my family goes on a disney trip with me, they know ahead of time i will not listen to any complaining - AT ALL! haha.

my technique, that my family is well aware of, is i simply walk away as soon as someone raises their voice (im italian, so all complaining is done in raised voices lol.) ill go get a dole whip or something short that makes me cheery, then when i return - all complaining has stopped, it didnt effect me, and now i have a yummy dole whip lol

ive did this like 3 times in one day to my mom hahaha. nobody harshes my happiness in WDW! nobody! ;)

Assuming it's an ornery adult what I would say is "Bye!"

I actually said this to another couple we were with, the husband started being a jerk. I told them we would go our separate ways and meet up later when he was in a better mood. Amazingly, it worked. No sense in letting his moodiness ruin my day.;) ( The wife was apologetic later, but I said, heck its not your fault.)

On my honeymoon my husband was soooo slow and was complaining because I was going,"too fast". Well i said- too fast. Meet U at Mk I left my husband of less than a week at EPCOT and took the monorail to Mk and hung around. He found me eventually.

My husband is now very impatient and was mad
At my dd on our
Last trip. He felt she took too long and we would be "late". Well at the bus stop a guy gave us special FP that allowed us to ride TSMM. Now hubby is more patient.

Of course my favorite thing to say is : I'm walking. If you don't follow you are not my problem.
