WHAT WOULD YOU DO!?

I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'd scream for all the world to hear! YEEEEESSS!!!! Why??? Because I'd look at it like this opportunity that life has brought me. It has to be for a reason. I'd be brave, have faith, and jump all-in 110%. Life is an adventure. If I don't frickin' go on the journey it brings me then all I'm left with is what-ifs and regrets. I'd go. And the $1500 doesn't even have to be part of the offer. I'd goooooo!!!!!

Boy, if I can't cancel Disney and get my money back, there's a really good chance the vacation I'm getting isn't worth what I'm paying for Disney. If I can cancel without penalty, sure, I'll take it. We have seen a lot of the Caribbean and I'm happy for every cruise I've taken. Now we are getting to the point where, if we are going to see other parts of the world, its going to have to begin soon. I want to see other things while I'm young enough to enjoy them (and live thru them.) ;)

I would just worry the surprise trip would be somewhere underwhelming, like the Wisconsin Dells. But if it was somewhere fantastic, either here or abroad, I would do it. I guess that is the risk you take.

It's an interesting situation to be in but I'd take the guaranteed Disney vacation any day. As good as the perks maybe from the other option, I love Disney World too much to give it up. You could offer me a trillion dollars or a Disney vacation but I'd take the Disney World vacation by a mile. As much as I want to see the world, the feeling of pure happiness at Disney World is something I'll never experience elsewhere. And also, I'd rather go through with something that's guaranteed to make me smile, laugh and feel happy than take a chance and the possibility of regret and sorrow.
Thats insane and I don't believe it. You give me a trillion dollars and I'm never setting foot in WDW again, i'm building my own parks...and anything else I want!

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

Disney World as are all theme parks are all artificial. Going round World Showcase does not mean you have been to those countries or experienced anything from that culture. Likewise walking around Hollywood Studios is nothing like visiting Hollywood or a real studio. It's all fake. Why not actually travel the world and see real landmarks and not fake reproductions is what I am getting at. The UK pavilion at Epcot is nothing like the UK, just one large stereotype. The tea and fish and chips taste nothing like what you actually get over here.

What do you mean Uk is nothing like the world showcase. I sometime forget where i am at EPCOT and scare myself thinking i am at home ...

I just saw a show on TV that gives unsuspecting contestants the chance at a marvelous vacation if they just say YES! My question is IF you had your DISNEY vacation planned and paid for and you were offered a BLIND vacation(say to the Bahamas, Caribbean, etc) all inclusive WITH $1500 cash for spending, what would you do!?
You didn't say if the dates would coincide. If they didn't I would definitely do both! If they coincide I would take the surprise trip, cancel Disney, & rebook at a later date!

Obviously I didn't think very thoroughly when I stated I would pick the vacation over a trillion dollars  I mean, with a trillion dollars, I'd move to Florida and buy annual passes for life in a heartbeat. I guess I was trying to say that money can't bring the feeling of happiness but I obviously didn't do a good job of explaining that. Still, for me, I'd rather go with something certain and guaranteed to work in favor over chance and luck. People may have differing opinions about that but that's just me.
