Like a lot of people have mentioned I would buy some art work. We have a wall that used to have an heat/AC unit that died and now the new unit is in a different place. Now there is a spot 30"x48" that needs something and I want it to be Disney related

There is something about this artwork I like. I have a pillow (below), tumbler, and a shirt all with the same artwork. You may be able to find the collage print in Art of Disney in DS. Or individuals of particular images.

We splurged on massages once which were like $350 if I remember correctly.

Thought about that, too! Might be nice for our non-park Saturday. To be researched along with Memory Maker.

I don't know if they still make it, but another one for me is the monorail that goes around a Christmas tree. Totally impractical, ridiculously priced...but fun.

OK, refreshed my memory Re: memory maker…and I’m still leaning no. Definitely not the $199 for 2 park days + Boo Bash. So it would be $69 for one of the park days…meh. We have cameras. (See, I’m still cheap!)

A follow-up re: spa treatments. Would Disney allow a visitor to your cabin? If they were fully vaccinated and willing to share that status with you, would you be comfortable with a therapist coming to you and providing a treatment? I'm envisioning an outdoor massage, a la beachfront, on the outdoor patio/terrace area of a FW cabin. Make it for dusk, light a fire in the ring, and it could be über-romantic! Let your campsite neighbors get all jelly at your bougie setup!

Funny I was just looking at Ft Wilderness-centric stuff. If DH is under the 250 pound limit for horseback riding, it's not by much. Archery would just make me feel bad about myself (like high school gym LOL.) And the tour on the segway...I just have images of one of us going down, like we did on our mopeds in Key West.

Not sure how much of a splurge it is but I'd probably visit the shops in Epcot and buy a fragrance. I like coming home and thinking of my trip whenever I wear a perfume I bought while on vacation.

Does a house at Golden Oaks count as merchandise?

The last time we were at DL they had some pictures/models of the castle and the firehouse (including lit lamp) in Disneyana, they were about 2 inches deep and on a frame, they are stunning but I could never justify thousands of dollars for something you hang on the wall.

Pretty sure the spas at Swolphin is open! That could be a nice option.

If money were no object I would probably buy some of the art work I like in the Art of Disney. It would be some of the original paintings too and not just a a print or a postcard of it.

$150. Aloha shirts can be expensive and it's a very well made one with the prints matching perfectly at the seams, nice buttons, good stitching. And while it's a gorgeous shirt and I actually wear aloha shirts frequently, I honestly wouldn't wear it all that often.

Rather than buy “stuff”, I’d schedule a VIP tour. Take lots of pictures and then make a memory book.
