For as much as I think Disney World is perfect, there is always room for improvement with everything.

What do you think Disney needs to do with the changing times?

Add adventurous attractions and rollercoasters?

Pay more attention to Disney Detail around the parks?

Merchandise more/less?

Nothing, Disney will always be the best no matter what?

More shows and entertainment?

Bigger, Better, behind the scenes looks at Disney magic?

Personally, I think Disney needs to keep paying attention to the small details, that's one of the things that makes it so magical. Like the lighted banners they had for the 100 year of magic celebration. Those little banners added so much to the park, something you just don't get at many (any) other theme park.

I say they should pay more attention to small details, because it's fun pointing them out :D
Like at Disneyland, at Tarzan's Treehouse, there was this thing I decided to look into, and in there was a small statue of a snail. It was pretty cool actually, because you would never find that at Six Flags or some other park :D

Add adventurous attractions like rollercoasters: A few more "adventures" would be nice. They wouldn't need to be all Roller Coasters and thrills (even though a few of those are needed) but could also be some great adventuresome family attractions like Kilimanjaro Safaris or Pirates of the Caribbean. I really think we'll be getting some good adventure with the addition of Mission: Space and Everest, but a few more adventures for the whole family (not just thrills) would be a welcome addition.

Pay attention to the small "Disney" details around the park: Disney is already the king of details around the parks. There are already tons of things so I don't think it's terribly urgent to get more in the parks ASAP. Just keep adding them as they usually do.

More Merchandising: Not really needed. There are now plenty of shopping options, I really don't think too many more are needed.

Bigger and better behind the scenes looks at Disney magic: There are enough Behind-the-Scenes tours as of now. We don't want to spoil the magic too much with more backstage tours, now, do we?

More Shows and entertainment: A few new shows would be nice, but not necissary. We just got a specacular new Castle show, a few new kids shows (PHDL and GCDJ), a new verision of the Luau at the Poly, three parades, lots of street entertainment and streetmosphere, and a new stunt show on the way. Entertainment isn't really what we are lacking right now.

Meeko, I agree 100% on more well conceived and constructed "family" rides like PoC, HM, and (shudder) even IASW. Throw in another "thrill" ride (doesn't have to be a coaster) per park, and my family would be happy.

However, this shouldn't be done until all of the empty attraction areas are either filled or replaced, and existing rides are refurbished; not changed, but updated with new carpets, paint, movies, etc. How about a few new cars for Buzz Lightyear, for instance? :lol:

My pick is
More guests who complain less about ridiculous things. Such as not getting an upgrade for a room that they did not pay for, if you want a savannah view room "pay for it" and people who gripe about attractions in rehab and then complain about things being in poor condition.

Those are the exact type of people that I am talking about!
They would probably complain about Space Mountain being to mountainous or that the Polynesian is just to Hawaiian

anyway.. I have a lonesome vote of more merchandising, yes they have a selection of SHOPS, but the merchandising they have is..ummm..ick.. Most of their shirts are just the WDW logo, as much as i love wdw those shirts get old kinda quick, thats why i was grateful that EPCOT had the classic epcot shirts..( do they still have them at Mouse Gear?) Also, put out a video of FULL Attractions and Classic Attractions. If that idea was put into affect, that would bring in some huge bank...

The small disney details are cool and all, and yes they need more of them, but thats really isn't going to bring in the money..

I love the small details. We spent our last trip looking for hidden mickeys and other cool little stuff. It's like searching for buried treasure.:)
