When I was three years old (30+ years ago) my parents took me to the MK. We headed straight to the Dumbo ride. I couldn't wait to ride it. Of course the line was about an hour long. But there I waited patiently (or as patiently as a 3 year old can wait) with my dad to ride on the flying elephant. Of course just before it was our turn to ride I had to go the bathroom and we had to get out of line. Sooooo My first ride was the Peter Pan ride.
I hear that story every time we talk about Disney with my mom.

Mine was Rock'n'Roller Coaster. We went to Daytona Beach and made a day trip to WDW. My mother-in-law wanted to take us to eat at Hollywood and Vine and to see Fantasmic. This lead to an MGM day trip.

I don't remember....:(

I can call my Mom and ask but she will go on and on about how hot is was and how heavy I was to carry around...blah, blah, blah.

And she probably won't remember, either.

The first ride I remember is If You Had Wings. I also remember the monorail when it went over the field that was full of shrubs cut into the shape of Disney characters. That was also a favorite...looking at all the neat-o shrubs. I thought when I grew up we would cut our shrubs into disney character shapes. Not.

I was 2 & a half for my first trip. I refused to get out of the stroller for anything. I think the only rides I went on were it's a small world & the backlot tour at mgm (when it still had residential street.)

I don't remember my first ride, but my first vivid Disney memory that I remember is going through the turnstiles at EPCOT Center and seeing Spaceship Earth when I was two.

 EPCOT Center opened the year my sister was born and she is 10 years younger than me.

The EPCOT ride I remember most from my first trips are Horizons and The Living Seas. RIP. :(

I have vivid memories of everything in Future World, except CommuniCore, I couldn't ever really convince my parents to go in there. And especially of the Universe of Energy finale, Horizons, the World of Motion Hub City (or Center Core, or whatever you call it), and Journey Into Imagination, probably because I had my dad take me on it possibly thousands of times. :sohappy:

And I also remember being bored out of my mind by World Showcase.

Cant remember the first, but I do remember most of the rides scaring me. I know the first WDW ride I fell in love with was IASW.

Having gone to EPCOT on 2 school field trips (middle school and high school) the whole place has amazing memories for me. It's hard to really put into words how much I love it there. :xmas:

I'm right there with you, I can't even begin to describe how I feel about EPCOT. I was lucky enough that my parents took us to Walt Disney World every couple of years. They always love to tell the story how the first job I wanted to do when I was little was to be a "ticket taker" so that I could let my family in for free. EPCOT Center was always my favorite place in the entire world, and still is.

I agree; World Showcase is something that I learned to appreciate and truly love as an adult. Although I think they have added more for the kids (KIDSPOTS is what I think they are called) nowadays.

You're absolutely right, I grew into World Showcase. Although, I don't quite have the reverance for it as I do the classic Future World pavilions.

And what you're thinking of is called Kidcot Fun Stops.

I was 23 and our first ride was Space Mt. and then Buzz. We then headed to Alien and what a let down after SM and Buzz. But we loved the place and have been back 7 times! Can't wait for Sept.

Spaceship Earth was my first. My family spent the night after our flight into Orlando at EPCOT and since that was the first thing we hit we had to ride it first.

I didn't remember exactly so I had to ask my mom, but my first Disney ride ever was the Mad Tea Party. I was three years old. Dumbo and Peter Pan were the next two rides, but I finally know why the Mad Tea Party has always been my favorite Fantasyland attraction.

In Disneyland (which I visited just last month), my first ride was Space Mountain. I was so ridiculously excited for it, I made a mad dash from the Grand Californian to Tomorrowland and I waited in a 35 minute line. I rode it about 4 more times that day, and about 25 times in total. Space Mountain was my first Disneyland ride, and in fact Disneyland's Space Mountain is now my favorite Disney ride anywhere!
