what was the worst food you had in Disney?

with all the good places to grab food at Disney it's surprisingly tough for me to one up with something I truly hated but with so much out thereto try I'm sure some people have some interesting, I not highly questionable meals.

surprisingly for me of all the possibilities it was room service pizza at all star sports around 8 or 9 years ago. maybe it's because I'm from Jersey where pizza is perfected ( there's actually a few businesses who make a killing getting pizza around the area and shipping it across the country to places like Seattle. I have a relative who has to spend a few hundred a year to eat "real" pizza, sadly every visit is welcomed with having to get pizza for almost every single meal while he is around) but I'm pretty sure for most civilized people this would be bad. the crust was so undercooked you would have sworn they forgot to cook it and it was still just dough. the sauce had the same consistency as one of those tomato soups to go from Campbell's. the cheese I actually can't knock too hard, given everything else the cheese gets a pass. still it all added up to a mess. I enjoyed eating shrimp more, which considering I am allergic to shrimp is saying something.

so what's the word thing any of you have had? something that just fell way short of expectations or a bold mistake to tr something new and different?

I actually really disliked a pork chop I had at Sunshine Seasons last year. I hated the sauce they put on it (I think it was supposed to be a homemade bbq sauce or something). That being said, I saw a lot of people ordering it and I'm sure that a lot of people enjoy it. It was really just a personal taste thing, rather than a problem with quality or anything.

My family found Pecos Bill's to be quite repulsive. We heard good things about the burgers, but unfortunately we had a bad experience. It was packed and service was extremely slow, but it is Disney so I will let that slide and keep my critique to the cuisine. Burgers were not great, especially for almost ten bucks a piece. The taco salad comes as a taco shell bowl with meat that has the texture of slimy vomit. Then you have to go the condiment bar and get the lettuce, tomato, salsa, cheese, etc. yourself. That wouldn't have been so bad except there were flies everywhere! To make matters worse, they wouldn't allow my wife to take my 2 year old son who was asleep into the dining room to get a table. You have to be carrying a tray of food to be allowed in.

Overall it was a very painful experience and a reminder of why we usually make reservations at a table restaurant to avoid sub-par food and crowds. Our meal for two adults and one kid was $30. We can eat at a superior sit-down at Disney for not much more.

Shouldn't this be in the dining section?

Anyway, in terms of food, well, I already posted how I loathed the fish and chips the ABC Comissionary had in a 2010 trip. Other than that, the pizza isn't very good. The resort pizza is well, not really bad but nothing that makes taste really great. Via Napoli, from what I've heard, probably has the best pizza in Disney World. It may not be up to par to some of New York City's top pizza places but based on the opinions, quality is better than most pizza at the resort.

I agree, we were very disappointed with Pecos on our last visit. It seems to have really gone down hill. It was almost $50 for 3 adults and 2 kids (incl the TIW discount) and no one was happy with their meal. The burgers were dry and that was really what we had come for.

I am not sure I would rate this the worst overall, but it is the worst I can think of right now.

The worst thing I ever had was a burger at the Sci-Fi. The bun completely disintegrated when I'd try to lift it, so I ate the lukewarm party with a fork. Even that was bad. Fries were overcooked and lukewarm, as well. Pop had too much soda and not enough syrup. HORRIBLE MEAL. If I were a person who complained In restaurants, I'd have bitched up a storm about that meal. It is a really fun experience, though. I love the movie clips and the whole place is cool to see.

I'll echo a pp and say I don't care for the taco meat at Pecos Bill's either. It does have a strange consistency...and tastes burnt to me. I was so sure the first had to be a fluke that I tried anther a few months later - same. I do like the place and IMO the burgers are fine...you have to wait forever for them, but they're good. :)

The worst I remember was at Pop Century a few years back. I got a Cheesesteak sandwich. It was on a paper plate (no problem) and when I got to my table and had a chance to look at it, it was literally sitting in a huge puddle of grease. I'm talking saturated. The roll disintegrated because you could wring it out it was so wet with grease. I'm not exaggerating here. I thought, well, once I wring the grease out, it might taste OK. Well, it tasted like grease. The plus side was that it was easy to eat, you didn't even have to swallow. It just slid down your throat.

Morocco's food was bad because it was so ridiculously bland. ABC Commissary food is always awful. The food in France is horrible too, just plain disgusting.
