I've read Buzz Lightyear replaced some show called "If you had wings." What was it about? I'm curious. I think it was there when I went to WDW in '90 but it didn't interest me. Buzz on the other hand I was interested in the moment I heard about it and rode it twice but I am curious as to just what If you had wings was.

If You Had Wings - the ride whose music mentioned the name of the attraction as much as it`s a small world and The Seas with Nemo and Friends

SO many fond memoried from `79 and `81 - some of my first WDW memories infact!

One of the great things about If You Had Wings was that, back in the days of A-E tickets, it was free. So when we ran out of tickets, my sister and I used to ride it over and over again. We also made up some rather naughty lyrics, but we won't get into that here :animwink:

"If You Had Wings"

"If You Had Wings" was an attraction that was located in Tomorrowland in the Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom. (Where Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is now) It was sponsored by the now defunct Eastern Airlines, who was the "Official Airline" of Walt Disney World originally.
