Hey guys, what did you all wear to the interview? Did you dress up or go casual? There may be interviews, so I don't want to look like a slob! Haha, let me know, thanks!

I watched the E-Presentation and interviewed over the phone, although I'm pretty sure not too many interviews are in person now. Just my opinion, I would just dress maybe business casual, nothing too over-the-top, but it's all up to how you present yourself both physically and verbally. Show your love for Disney and just let them know how much you are wanting to do the CP. :D Good Luck!

I had an in person interview and presentation. Alot of the interviews were on the phone but my recruiter had time to interview five of us the morning following the presentation (I jumped at the chance even though it was at 8 AM!) If you get a chance I would recommend interviewing in person! I dressed like i was going to a professional interview for both. My recruiter (female) was dressed in black pants and a blazer and looked very professional. I would suggest not going casual. Dress how you would for a professional interview. Also, if you can, try to follow the "Disney Look" guidelines that are on the website. Good luck! I just got accepted for spring 08 in merchandise so maybe i will see you there!

Dressing up for an interview will never cause you to lose the job; while the same cannot be said for dressing down!

Business Casual is usually the norm but jeans and a t shirt can be tolerated as its understood that many come straight from class or might not have known about a presentation till that day.

Just be sure that you are paying attention and avoid looking bored, tired and DO NOT TEXT during the presentation.
The recruiter does take notes on people during the presentation (ours does at least).
Over all be yourself!

I dont work for Disney(not yet) but I am a Human Resources Manager for a large Retailer. Some things to always remember-not just for Disney.....

A-Tie is always a good thing-Even if you think it is too much for the position you are applying for.

B-Make sure your dress shirt is ironed or laundered-no wrinkles or stains.

C- Dress pants or Dockers at the minimum-and again pressed or ironed-no wrinkles.

D- Dress shoes -or really close-no sneakers,sandles,etc.

E-My company isnt as strict as Disney concerining Hair Standards but better to be in the "look" before interview so the Recruiter can see how you look now verses trying to imagine you after a haircut.-Also shows you did your homework about the company culture not showing up with a "Mullet"-lol.

F-Get some basic Company Knowledge-some backround about the company-anybody in here has enough to get by since we all love Disney.

G-Always be early.

H- You wont believe some people I have had to interview showing up in cut offs with belly shirts, baseball caps-One even showed up wearing a walkman.

I-just as the previous poster said-never hurt to do extra-can kill if you do dont do the minimum.

Agreed 100%. Additionally, go for a more classic look. Don't wear a bright red shirt with a floral tie. White shirt, solid, striped, or conventionally patterned tie. Dress skirt for women (unless you have tattoos on your legs).

Now, on this I may have to disagree with you.

If you are type of person that would even consider wearing a bright red shirt and a floral tie, then you more than likely have the personality to pull it off. If you can wear that comfortably, then you probably should be hired as an entertainer.
