What to try New places to eat!!! HELP...

Ok, so I been to Disney quite a few times and we are going back again in September with the dining plan. I want to try a few new places to eat. Let me know what you all think of the few restaurants that I listed below. Thanks guys!

Hollywood Brown Derby for dinner

Akershus Princess breakfast in Norway

LeCellier

Tutto Italia

Would you all do the Cape May Cafe character breakfast at the BC or Ohana's character breakfast at the Poly? Need to pick between the 2.

1900 Park Fare- Cinderella's Gala Feast Dinner. (did the character breakfast here and enjoyed.)

Princess Breakfast - is a MUST every trip for me!! Food is good and the princess interaction is priceless!

LeCellier - ask around, best meal on property hands down

I've only ever done breakfast @ Cape May and love it.

Thanks Fallen Angel!!! I have heard the Princess breakfast in Norway is Great! Looks like we will definitely be going there.

I'll been hearing mixed reviews about LeCellier lately so I nervous with that one...

Also, I am such a picky eater! I hate any kind of sauces on my food and veggies, don't like them I'm a steak and potatoes girl.... So, I always have to special order things:lol:

Have eaten at LeCellier many times,it has always been good,however they tend to overcook the steaks. I wouldn't order any more than medium. If you want to try a place that is hardly ever mentioned try the grand floridian cafe.Last year the food was better than LeCellier, the service was great and you don't feel crowded.Give it a try!

We loved all the places you mentioned. Will say that our meal at Tutto in Sept was better than Dec, but could have just been the day.

Cape may is a great place, and we LOVED the princess breakfast at Norway, might mention that we are a 50ish couple sans children at the time, so think it speaks greatly for the food and princesses!

Brown Derby Cobb salad is out of this world, and love the staff and buffet at 1900 Park Faire.

Le Cellier, absolute must do if you can get an adr. Brown Derby, have'nt been in years and looking at their menu and seeing people's food pics, I can't understand how it's a 2 credit restaurant. Just my opinion. Akershus, was great before it was a princess deal, have'nt been back since.

Can't go wrong with Brown Derby

Loved the Lunch at Akershus, would recommend it over the breakfast since the food then is just your standard bacon and eggs from what I hear.

Food is family style at Ohana, buffet at Cape May. Location at either isn't much to talk about (but not dreadful). It's Goofy, Minnie, Chip/Dale etc at Cape May and Lilo and Stitch Mickey and Pluto at Ohana. I'd pick the one with Stitch and Pluto but go for whatever park you wat to be at that day or whatever's closest to your hotel.

Thanks Everyone! We have decided to definitely do the Cape May Cafe Character breakfast and Akershus breakfast. Still up in the air about the rest. At least I still have some time to decide since we can't make dining ressies until the 90 day mark... :hammer:

So now I'm really interested in this place... Is it acceptable to bring a 7 year old to? Also, what is the dress etire? Meaning will it be ok for us to hop on the monorail and go there after being at the MK for most of the day?

The food at Tutto, at least on our previous trip, was average at best. The prices were a little high for the quality of food.

Hi There. I would definately do the Cinderella Castle Dinner or Breakfast. Be sure to call exactly 120 days before you want to book this though or you will be out of luck. You have to pay ahead of time for this. Unless you have the dining plan. It includes a photo with Cinderella before you get to your seating. So plan on being ready once you enter the castle (hair, makeup and what not hehe). You will love the breakfast if you have little ones, the dinner I would think is more for older childern. The breakfast all the princess' come out, also ask for a seat near the window area or in the below seating that is where all the princess' come to great! It's fun, but once you do this you won't want to do it again.
Also if you can try the Coral Reef in Epcot Living Seas area for dinner. If you like seafood and a beautiful tank full of fish to watch nearby. I would say this dinner is more for adults, though I have seen kids there and they love to look into the tank to see all the various fish. Ask for a seat by the tank. Call way in advace for this as well. It's fun.
If you do the Hollywood Brown Derby ask for the Fantasmic Dinner Package this will include priority seating for the Fantasmic Show. Everyone loves this show. Hope this helps a bit. Have a great time at WDW, I love it there we go at least 2 times a year :sohappy::wave:take care. Tinkerchelli

Le Cellier is definately one of our favorites. We have yet to be disappointed! They offer a wonderful ravoli...yummo! :slurp: We make sure we go every trip.

Akershus Princess breakfast in Norway is really good and seeing all the princess is wonderful.

Hollywood Brown Derby for Dinner IMHO is an excellent choice. We went last year and we were very happy with the food and especially the service. We will be going back this March!

Absolutly! Have eaten there for lunch and dinner in shorts and a "t"shirt and you don't feel out of place at all.

The two that you have listed that I have been to are Le Cellier & Hollywood Brown Derby.

Le Cellier is the best at Disney in my opinion. As others have said if you can get it, go!

Hollywood Brown Derby is also very good. It was better when you could get Filet but still very good. The crab cake appetizers are out of this world good!

Hey there! Thanks for the tips... I have ate at both CRT and Coral Reef and loved them! This trip it was my goal to eat at all new plaes. but its so hard, b/c I have so many favorite places that I have eaten at in the past. Oh the agony in deciding where to eat... She sighs....
